Summary: The Art Club is having it's first meeting! Come meet your fellow artists, make some friends, and create some art.

The first ever meeting of the Luceti Art Club has Rapunzel a teensy bit nervous, but she's determined to make things a success and lots of fun for everyone. Even with the rainy morning, she's ready to adapt. She sends out a general message on the journal as a reminder of the meeting that day for everyone in town, including a note about a shift in location to the school on account of inclement weather.

Today's meeting will be composed of two sections:

First, a meet and greet. After introducing herself and saying a few words about the club, Rapunzel will leave the first half-hour of the meeting for people to socialize and get to know one another. If she sees someone standing alone, she will certainly steer them toward a conversation. After all, making friends is one of the top goals of this club! Rapunzel will also be dodging outside to catch stragglers and make sure anyone passing by knows what's going on.

Second, paper and crayons--yes, crayons--will provided for each participant. Rapunzel will then instruct them to close their eyes and imagine something unreal, and to trace whatever it is onto the paper with their eyes closed. Once they have, they can open their eyes and color the rest of it however they want! And then they can share said artistic creations with those around them. Sharing is caring. And also learning, in this case.

Before, during, and after the meeting, there will be refreshments provided, baked by Rapunzel herself. These refreshments include (but are not limited to): pastries, brownies, cookies, pies, breads, and tarts. There will also be pitchers of lemonade and plastic cups. Eat up and enjoy!

And remember, there are no mistakes, just happy accidents.

Hi! I'm Ikki! I'm one of the co-founders. Are you having fun? What's your name? Ooooooh, that's so pretty! [ Hang on, distracted entirely by your artwork, Rydia. ]

[Distracted by all the chatter, Rydia nonetheless pauses with a smile as she looks to the young girl.]

It's nice to meet you, Ikki! I'm definitely having fun and my name is Rydia...and thank you, I'm glad you like it! I've never actually used crayons before now.

I think some worlds don't have them! [ crayons, that is ]

Mine doesn't, but that's the fun part of being here. We get to try all sorts of things we'd never have at home.

[She looks Ikki over.]

That outfit reminds me of Aang. Are you from his world, then?

I agree! There's someone here drawing with magic. [ There's still a tone of hushed awe at this; it will never get old.

At the mention of Aang, Ikki grins reflexively. ]

Yep! That's my grandpa. Are you friends with him?

Your...grandpa.

[Blink. She's well aware of people coming in from different times, but still. Aang's so young. It's difficult to think of him having kids of his own, let alone grandkids.]

That's right! He's helped me out at the Welcome Center, and took me around for a tour along the ocean on Appa. I'm so glad he has family here!

Grandpa's from seventy years before me or so! [ ...He couldn't be from her exact timeline, anyway, being dead there. ]

Yep! He's got lots of family here! Katara and Uncle Sokka and Aunt Toph and everyone! Well, I guess technically I'm the only one here who's related to him by blood, but that's not the important part!

[She nods, smiling at mention of Katara.]

I've met some of them already; Katara and Sokka have been here for a long time. And true, you don't need to be blood-related to be family. The one I have here is a good example of that.

So, are you an Airbender like him? Can you do that air-scooter thing?

Oh! I'm also related to Katara and Uncle Sokka with blood, though, y'know!

Yeeeeep! I'm still in training, though.

[Rydia stares, surprised, then shakes her head.]

No, I didn't know that! Then Katara is your...grandmother?

Yep! An' Uncle Sokka is really my great-Uncle Sokka, but that's too long.

[Aang and Katara. The two as a couple had never really occurred to her, but at least they found happiness.]

I'm willing to bet he thinks so, too.

[She can't imagine anyone his age wanting to be called a great-uncle.]

So, what do you think? Does my butterfly-dragon need something more?

Sparkles! Like, glitter?

Ooh, good point.

[She glances around.]

Do you know where I can get some?

Sure! I thiiiiink we have some in one of the baskets over there... [ She's. Just going to step away to browse the art supplies, and will come back with a few tins of the sparkly stuff. ]

[Rydia will move over to help her, of course.]

I think this ought to be enough...for me and everyone else here who wants it!

I think I'll add a lot to mine, too! [ haphazardly and without worrying about how the sparkles fit in. Sparkles need no reasoning, right? ]

[Nope, none. Though Rydia tries to keep most of them on the butterfly dragon's wings.]

[ Ikki is getting a lot of glitter on herself as well as her drawing. ]

Oh, that sounds wonderful! I'd love to live in a place like that, too.

You can come and have a room there, too!

Really? How kind of you! Are sky bison allowed, as well?

[Because what sky castle would be complete without them?]

Yep! They're going to have their own wing! An' it has to be open so they can fly in an' out whenever they want!

[She nods cheerfully to this idea.]

I'm sure they would love that, Ikki!
