Summary: After revealing a new section of the tunnels, the people of Luceti have the freedom to slip in and see what secrets await them.

This is an open log for anyone who would like to thread out checking the tunnels out, observe the wall of memoirs, or just generally poke around at things.

[Naoto doesn't hesitate in making her way over to the tunnels as fast as she can. It's disappointing to go without Roxas but she isn't going to wait to head down there and investigate. She doesn't mind going on her own anyways.

Once there, she'll be wandering about all over the tunnels, taking detailed notes in a fresh notebook on each room and even poking around at some of the machinery, taking a look at wires, buttons, gauges and things of the like.

When she gets around to the memoirs... it hurts to read some of them. It even shows on her face as she takes a look at each one. But she can't look away. She has to keep observing.]

[Kouki's down at the tunnels as well, examining everything he can see, read and touch.

He stop beside Naoto, reading the memoirs with a controlled, stoic expression. But behind his mask, he's calm but grim. These memoirs...]

They're interesting.

[She glances at him, noticing the look on his face then looks back at the memoirs with frustration and sadness written all over her own face]

Unsettling as well. [In multiple ways. One being what these people went through. Another being the mentality of some of these people. The other being the fact that what they say about children... ]

It makes me wonder...

[The comments about a child's wings, the changes to the bodies (from repeated experimentations?) and their mental state.

Will this be them, in a few more years?]

[After a moment, she continues to jot down what the memoirs say in her notebook]

The part about children.

[He knows very well some people in the village have children. Wasn't there an announcement about a baby a fair while ago?]

It's quite troubling, considering what you can deduce from these.

[Naoto can't help but stare at Kouki for a good minute out of the corner of her eye. He's acting different--and even speaking differently than normal. But she doesn't bring it up. She's just going to continue observing him.]

Indeed, it is. I wonder what had occurred here to change the mental state of these people.

[It's old, but Kouki can easily imagine the despair and other negative feelings behind these memoirs. If he's honest, it both intrigue and amuse his demonic nature.]

From the memo about not having children and this one about growing wings...

[“The child’s wings grow and grow. Not like mine. Not small at all. Will he be like them? Will he want to kill us all? If only I could E - N - D his suffering permanently.”]

Large wings... [He seems rather thoughtful about that.] If my assumption is true, then it's better to not conceive children in this world.

And what assumption is that?

[Not that Naoto didn't already believe that having children here in Luceti was a risk she'd rather not see taken. Considering how they're treated and what they have to go through year round.]

...According to these, people who have children noted their growing wings. The people I know with such large wings are the cultists.

[He said it. And he even haven't mention the possibilities about one or both parents returning to their home world. Where does that leave the children?]

[She pauses at that. It's a disturbing thought, she isn't going to lie to herself about that. To think that they've been possibly fighting and killing the children of those who were here last... ]

That's quite the assumption. [But for her own sake and Roxas', she jots it down in her notebook] Let us hope that it isn't true.

Let's hope so.

[He doubt he'll actually find a lover here, leaving him free from worrying about this. But he knows others in the village are dating.]

We wouldn't know for sure, until we can confirm it.

[The easiest would be asking the cultists. Which is, itself, a problem.]

That alone will be a challenge.

[She pauses briefly] The children that were born in this world and live in the village, do you know any of them?

[He blinks at the question, before shaking his head.] No, not personally.

Do you know how many there are?

[de_bel_survivor]

No, I don't. I don't think there's a lot of them, like ten. Around less than that number.

I see. [A number to jot down] I will have to look further into it later.

[de_bel_survivor]

I'd be interested in knowing the results, Shirogane-san.
