It had been an unusually warm day for October. Dark clouds loomed in the day and had been accompanied by strong winds. A strange green aura tinted the clouds in the west before it finally happened. It was loud. Deafeningly loud for those near it, like a freight train hurling itself through the sky. Dust and debris whipped up inside it and anything not securely fastened was pulled towards it, sometimes right off the ground. A tornado had formed in Luceti and it was moving fast. Faster than a person could run or follow.

The smart people would be staying inside. The not so smart? Hopefully they could handle it.

[As the tornado nears the village, Aang goes ahead to make sure the general area is clear. And he... finds someone just staring at it. Aang comes down with his glider, flipping it back into a staff form as he lands and addresses this boy seriously.]

What are you doing? This is dangerous!

It's dangerous..? But what is it?

[Knowing that it's dangerous doesn't change anything to Rae really. He's only curious.]

It's a tornado! You never seen one before? It's lots of really heavy winds, so you gotta get somewhere safe!

Nope, there's only desert in my world...but how can wind be dangerous?

Desert, huh? [Too bad Aang doesn't feel the need for smalltalk right now.] When wind goes really fast, it can be dangerous. It can break glass and toss people or heavy things around. I'm trying to make sure no one gets hurt.

If it gets dangerous, I can always put up a barrier. [It's easy to see just how fascinated by it.]

Oh, you can? Well if you can protect yourself that easily, I guess you won't need to find shelter.

Yep, and it's kind of neat looking.

It is? ...Can I see it?

[It probably would be pretty useful, because here comes a piece of debris flung form the tornado, behind Aang's back.]

Sure! [Raenef doesn't even notice the debris, but there's a dark purple/black shield up in seconds, which easily knock away anything hitting it.

[He looks around, clearly amazed.]

Wow, that is a really neat shield! How do you do that?

[And then stiffens meekly as he hears the debris clunk harmlessly against the shield.]

Well it's a really easy spell, all demons can do it. It's like teleportation.

[Oh, stuff hit! Guess it is dangerous. He'll be keeping the barrier up until he's told it's alright...]
