DRAFT - The Battle of Vaskoth

Who: Anyone on the draft
What: The Battle of Vaskoth! Zombie uprising!
When: 25th to 28th (a second log will follow)
Where: Vaskoth
Summary: Please read here for event information
Rating: Z for Zombies

On the 25th, Lucetians are ushered in to join an already growing army to repel the Cultists.

On the 26th, strange symptoms are reported. The first Runners appear and by nightfall, the hospital is lost.

On the 27th, the cultist horde is completely lost to the virus. They send no more reinforcements.

On the 28th, the situation is grim and an evacuation is called. But the battle is not over.

Notes: There will be two NPC threads. One for Specialist Davis and another for Carol.

If you like creating your own NPCs, then check out this spreadsheet and be sure to contribute! This was originally set up by Griff for the Kin'cora event. It's been revised as a semi-official tracking spreadsheet for characters created on the fly.

[Ingo spends most of his time in the draft close to Silver-- even though Silver is better than him at warfare and such combat, he's still Ingo's "son" and Ingo feels the need to at least keep an eye on him. Silver makes this relatively easy, at least, especially as time wears on.

On the 25th, Ingo does try to do what he was brought here for-- finishing the objective is the key to getting home, right? Still, "killing people" isn't something he's ever really done-- or seen, for that matter- so while his Pokemon (and his brother's, lent to him) may have to do so to ensure his and others' safety, he'll avoid it as much as humanly possible. He'll probably focus on assisting others more than actually going after the opponent himself, so if someone looks like they could use a backup, he'll do his best to provide it.

However, once he realizes that some of the Kin'corans are there, he'll begin to look somewhat frantically (and fruitlessly) for one of them that he'd met before-- a young subway employee from Unova. No dice, though. Hopefully that means only good things.

Once the virus rumors and signs start going around on the 26th, Ingo becomes more concerned about protecting his Pokemon from the apparent infection. He can't afford to lose them-- so their long-range moves, like Eelektross's Thunderbolt and Archeops's Rock Slide, come in handy. Chandelure, however, being already dead, is unconcerned with getting infected and continues to do as it pleases. (However, Ingo prevents it from taking the life force of those infected, just in case.)

It's more of the same on the 27th, save for his further closeness in proximity to Silver. Ingo is very, very unnerved (to put it lightly) by this whole situation, even as he's more or less unharmed (well-- physically). He has six Pokemon at his disposal, as opposed to Silver's three, however-- and as Silver's Pokemon wear themselves out, Ingo trades his Chandelure to Silver to ensure his safety. Thus, Ingo relies mostly on Eelektross's moveset to sustain his distance from the enemies at large.

The 28th's announcement for an evacuation comes as a welcome surprise for the then-exhausted Subway Boss- and one he makes a beeline for with Silver, using Chandelure for cover. Unfortunately, Chandelure is growing tired-- and an ambush will lead to a Thing With Silver that further eradicates Ingo's sense of stability-- but he will, ultimately, make it out in once piece.]

...Oh here we go.

[Because, right then, the electricity of Linda and the super powers of any other pokemon in the area just shut down. Masaomi was here with Ingo and probably a few other MSF people fending off a bunch of cultists, but... now. Well, powers are shut down. A Shifter entered the idea, even if Masaomi doesn't immediately spot it. He calls for Linda to come back, and leaps in with his baton to cover the retreat]

[Oh, great. Ingo heard a little about this kind of attacker, from Silver; he's quick to exchange Chandelure's now-useless special attacks for Haxorus's brute force. Archeops, also, uses its flight range to viciously target some of the foot soldier's wings, especially if they get too near Ingo (and Masaomi, should he ever appear to need the help). ]

Glowing eyes, isn't it... [That's the only way to figure out which one they ought to pinpoint if possible, right?]

Yeah, that's right, boss. [Linda wants to attack. she really wants to attack and actually might need to be restrained or at least cautioned for that. Hopefully someone can do it.

Masaomi, meanwhile, has his hands full right here- kicking and punching (he really needs a gun) and using his baton to deflect attacks from two swordsmen]
