On the 25th, Lucetians are ushered in to join an already growing army to repel the Cultists.

On the 26th, strange symptoms are reported. The first Runners appear and by nightfall, the hospital is lost.

On the 27th, the cultist horde is completely lost to the virus. They send no more reinforcements.

On the 28th, the situation is grim and an evacuation is called. But the battle is not over.

Notes: There will be two NPC threads. One for Specialist Davis and another for Carol.

[Naoto may notice a brief flash of light - no, electricity - around a corner. It's the familiar sound of an electric spell being cast.]

Maybe I should stick to fire.

[Kouki muses to himself, watching the twitching form of a fallen infected. His right hand is already gathering energy for another spell to cast.

Snap.

There went an Agidyne spell.]

[It would be hard not to notice a flash in light when you're stuck in darkness.

She summons Yamato-Takeru quietly in case it happens to be a cultist, peeks around the corner and catches Kouki as he casts the last spell on an already fallen infected, flinching a bit at the snap. That was... overkill.]

...Wakahisa-san? [Stepping out where she can be seen now]

[Kouki blinks, before turning his red eyes over at Naoto and her Persona. If she haven't spoken his name, he would've consider her as a potential enemy.]

[She stares at his red eyes for a long moment. How often has he been allowing his other side out? The last time she saw him in the tunnels... ]

What are you doing? Was your enemy not already dead?

[Since he started fighting. It's easier for him to fight if he slip into his demon king's mindset. Cold, calculated and cruel by necessity.]

Just making sure they're truly dead.

[He's still figuring out the most efficient way of handling the infected without wasting his energy.

If he's bothered by the smell from the burning infected, he never show it.]

I rather not deal with them attacking me when I turn my back.

Fair enough, I suppose. [She's wary of his actions but she can't necessarily blame him for taking precautionary measures. Considering she's done the same.]

All of the cultists you've come across today, have they all been infected?

Today? Yes. Each and every one I've encountered so far. I dare guess all remaining ones are as well.

[If they're infected, the original source of infection must've hit a core group. Like their base.]

I am to assume the very same. All that I've encountered today have been infected. I have yet to find an uninfected cultist and the same goes for many others. The virus has spread much faster than I had originally anticipated.

[It makes her very wary about it. If it managed to take the cultists over from the inside out, it could very well do the same for them.

Speaking of the infected, a few of them can hear them from around the corner and are about to make their way to them.]

We should keep out distance from them, just to be safe. From what I've seen--[and his continued health]--the virus seemed to spread via contact. Possibly from the infected's fluid entering our bodies.
