Fare thee well, spring break.
Who: SCHOOL PEOPLE and all interested parties! Students, tutors, teachers, and anyone who wants to poke their head in.
What: SCHOOL.
When: SCHOOL... from Monday, April 15th to Thursday the 18th, 9:00-2:30 every day.
Where: SCHOOL.
Summary: SCHOOL re-opens following the impromptu break caused by the TERRACE draft.
Rating: A+
[With all teachers back on site and everyone returned from the draft with time for recovery, school is back in action. As warned, long overdue homework assignments are to be turned in on the first day back. Otherwise it's business as usual, though there may be a couple of new faces floating around class. New students will take a quick assessment test to help gauge their knowledge before joining in on classes. There, they can mingle with the rest of their classmates... as long as they aren't doing it in the middle of a lecture, of course.
One thing of note: the upcoming cultural fair! Discussion about it will begin in world sharing class. Students will be encouraged to think about what they want to do, as well as to spread the word among the Lucetifolk. Details in the appropriate world sharing thread below!]
((OOC: For the sake of efficiency, let's say an announcement regarding the date of the school's re-opening went up on the journal network the week before. If you haven't put your character on the school roster yet, please head over here and do so!
If you'd like to have your character doing things outside of the threads already set up, feel free to create new ones! Have fun and make friends.))

[Art]
He's drawing a taaaaaaall odd tower that looks like it was made of stuck-together houses. From memory. His memory is pretty good, but to most people it's got to look weird.
Not to mention totally not the small collection of kitchen gadgets he's supposed to be drawing.]

That's a nice train.

[Diamond's curious, too.]

Come now. It's clearly a totem pole.

[Please guys, even the illiterate has the true vision here.]
no subject
Are you sure it's not a stack of cameras?
no subject
It's a tower! You ought to know better too, Professor!

[... He was kind of close.]

[Squinting at the drawing. Well, it still looks like a train to him!!!]

[A tower...? Well, it was missing the head, so he guesses it wasn't a snake.]

[Oh, right. Drawings. They had to do that stuff...buuuut...]
I already finished.

Whoa! That's a great Unagi, Luke!
no subject
Oh--you're right! [Wow, how did he miss this before...] It really does look like a stack of unagi sushi.

A tall tower of food... That's tasty.

Not quite. We're just engaging in a little... aesthetic interpretation.
