Luceti Valley - The First Log

Summary: Luceti has become an idyllic and peaceful 50s-esque village. The first few days are just business as usual, right?

August 1st had seemed like an ordinary day in Luceti. But late in the evening, for those night owls who had not turned in yet, they were witness to strange fluctuations in the barrier. Beautiful, really, almost like Luceti had received its own 'Northern Lights', even though it seemed to come from the far east, across the ocean. This ominous light show lasted for all of fifteen minutes before it ceased all together. Skimming the ocean waters, a horde of cultists entered Luceti, cloaked by darkness. Upon reaching the entrance to the tunnels, their leader stepped inside and was followed one by one by his fellow cultists. When the last had entered, the tunnel entrance closed. Across the mountains, the entrance to the tunnels in the village did the same.

Midnight passed without incident, but by three in the morning, the change suddenly came. Minds were altered, forms were changed, and buildings sprang from nowhere.

Much later, on August 2nd, morning settled on a changed village, the new mayor made his way to his mansion with his pair of adorable dobermans at either side of him. The sun shined bright. It was a good day to be a Lucetian.

Note: There will be a stand alone log for the homecoming dance. There will be another log for the second stage of the event.

[This is Loki, a healthy teen who lives a happy life with his dad, Kirk. He rather does not mention his stepmom Katniss. He does not want her around and does everything within his power to chase her out of the house (it does help that Katniss' father gives him money for that)

He's not a smart dresser and mostly walks around in shirts that are too big.

Loki is a class clown and is very fond of playing tricks on everyone and everybody. Of course, being not a smart dresser and a prankster has earned him some bullies. Still, it also earned him a best friend called Patty. Together they troll from Lowtown to Hightown

Loki can be found in his father's shop, or at school peeking at girls, attending classes, get suspended for putting gum in the hair of his fellow female classmates, trolling in your neighborhood or just chilling with his dad.]

[Patty is part of the upper echelons, but that certainly doesn't stop her from consorting with the lower classes. Heck, the lower classes are the most fun! Besides, it's not like her family minds much. Though, to be fair, she's blissfully ignorant of the way her brother tends to bully her closest friend.

Either way, she approaches Loki on the playground once classes are over, her backpack slung over her shoulder and a skip in her step. The best part about school is outside the classes and usually outside the building itself.]

[Loki tends to hang around the school after classes are over. For a lot of reasons, actually. And Patty is one of those reasons.

He slowly gets on his feet, not at all bothered by the hole in the fabric of his slacks, and finishes eating the apple he has taken from someone's lunchbox.]

[He waves happily.]

Please do not tell me you have brought your horrible brother with you.

[Patty waves back in an excited manner as she comes to a halt in front of him. She'll let that 'horrible' comment slide because she knows Cato can be a bit of a grump sometimes.]

Of course not! He's probably off with his girlfriend again anyway. [It's said with a small tone of disgust. It's not that she dislikes Clove herself, it's that she dislikes the mushy stuff. She doesn't want to think about her brother snogging someone. That's gross.]

Ah, that is a relief. I have turned it into a sport to avoid him at all costs. And to be fair, I seem to be quite good at this.

[He pulls a face at the mention of the girlfriend.]

I have no idea what is girls find so dazzling about him. Perhaps his impeccable reputation as an athlete.

[He huffs, a bit jealous, because frankly, having a girlfriend would be quite nice.]

I don't even wanna think about what girls find dazzling about him.

[She gives a heaving, overdramatic shudder. Why are they even talking about this? Eww. Time for a subject change.]

[Loki's shirts are too loose and Mytho's pants are always off. CAN THESE PEOPLE JUST NOT DRESS THEMSELVES...

Sometimes, Tsuna just despairs of the friends he's made. He's always been raised in a proper (albeit lazy) manner, so he can't help but sigh at the state of their clothes.]

[Loki is not someone who pays attention to his clothes, really. As long as they are comfortable and not itchy he is perfectly fine with them.

He smiles when he hears Tsuna's voice and closes his locker.]

Tsuna. I think it is a swell idea to skip P.E. The time can be perfectly used to fill these waterballoons with water.

[Eh, Rhyme doesn't go to school so Tsuna has no reason to be here anyway.]

You should probably tuck your shirt in if we're going to be working with water. Who are the balloons for anyway?

[Loki looks at his shirt and back to Tsuna again.]

My shirt is fine as it is, I fail to see the connection between my shirt and water. But the balloons are for the cheerleading squad. Perhaps I should write their names onto each balloon, right?

[Loki, can't you see that the existence of your shirt pains him...! Is it really so much to ask to just tuck it in!!! Tuck half of it in, or just tuck anything in!!!! Anything!!!!]

I'm not surprised that you don't see. [Since Loki is so obviously blinded to many other truths about his shirt.] Just... try not to catch your death, I guess. And anything else.

Though maybe that's moot point since the cheerleaders will kill you anyway, names or no names.

[ After a strenuous day of skipping class, Korra heads over to Kirk's motorcycle shop, spotting Loki on her way in. She shoots him a grin. ]

Hey, Loki. What's up?

[Loki busies himself with arranging bolts and tools. And he has changed that new shirt into one big grease stain. It does not really matter, he got the shirt from Katniss anyway.]

Hello!

[He holds up a couple of bolts.]

It seems I have a lot of arranging to do.

[He is kind of ogling at your bosom, Korra. Like father, like son, so to speak.]

[precipitous]

[ At least she's used to being ogled. Hanging out with street kids kind of gets you used to a few things. ]

[Loki nods enthusiastically.]

[He shifts and starts to move a couple of boxes to make room for Korra.]

Please sit down so I can tell you that I would ask you to the homecoming dance but I have other plans already. So there's that.

[ She practically flops to sit next to him, her grin turning cheeky. ]

Well, then, I'll tell you I already have a date so I would have had to say no. So there's that.

[Loki's kind of a dork, and Bulla's opinion of him waffles between thinking he's very funny to finding him rather annoying. She's been trying to convince him for a long time to agree to a makeover, though it has yet to be successful.

She's heading off to cheerleading practice in full uniform when she spots him.]

Hello, Loki. What are you up to, today?

[Loki has been hiding behind the seats that are placed around the football field, fidgeting with something that look like waterballoons. He actually doesn't really bother to cover anything up.]

Hello!

[He smiles a broad smile.]

It seems today is a good day for waterballoons.

Ooooh, no.

[Bulla isn't dumb enough to think that Loki and waterballoons are ever a good combination.]

You know where the best place for waterballoons is, Loki? The beach. Unless you're trying to set a new record for sprinting, I seriously don't recommend throwing them at anyone here.

Oooooh, yes.

[A pause followed by a short shake of his head.]

I have not said anything about throwing these here. I have not heard myself saying that. Have you heard me saying that? Because I definitely haven't heard myself saying such a thing.

I said that I didn't recommend throwing them here, not that you would.

You do have them here, after all, when the beach would be a much better place for them.

[Mrs. Konan Uzumaki has just begun her maternity leave as of the previous week, and although she has been quite tired out from this pregnancy, she also misses having something to do. So she's out and about in town today, and when she spots Loki and off in the distance spots some of his tormentors looking around and heading this general direction, she points behind a large electrical box.]

[Loki is so deep in thought that he does not notice bullies being nearby and he actually utters a soft 'whelp' when Konan starts to talk to him.]

Ah, teacher...! Er...what?

Your usual tormentors appear to be looking for you, so you should duck down and hide there for the moment.

[Her tone of voice is as calm as it would be if she was telling him he had a big chunk of food stuck in between his teeth, though she is keeping a watchful eye out to see if they've spotted Loki yet. Not yet, it seems, but they are moving closer and they will eventually.]

[Loki blinks a couple of times and notices the small group of older boys inching closer.]

I haven't even done anything...

[Loki huffs and does as she says. He really does not feel to face them right now.]
