[ Never let her do the shopping, apparently. ]

[He thinks it over.] You drive a hard bargain, Ikki, but all right.

[He offers her his hand.]

[ She takes the hand, to - shake? Well, and then she'll just hold on, swinging it. ]

[Loki's heart goes squish just a little. And he's more than happy to keep holding her hand.]

[He heads for the buffet table with the nastier sorts of food on it. Bugs certainly aren't the worst thing he's ever eaten, that's to be certain.]

[ Skipping, Ikki comes along.

Which, well. Holding hands sort of makes that a given, but... ]

I haven't, actually. I've only been to this bizarre place once. Let's see what they have...

[Loki examines the bugs on offer. He's eaten scarier things.]

So which one shall you dare me to eat?

[ ............THOSE SURE ARE A LOT OF BUGS.

Why would anyone eat them!! Except Meelo, but Meelo's a BOY and WEIRD...

After some serious thought, Ikki points to some fried grasshoppers (????????). ]

[Loki pretends reluctance.]

Are you sure? Those are awful big...

[He uses tongs to get one and put it on the plate, then eyes it like he expects it to attack him.]

Those had better be good hugs I'm going to get for this...

They look crunchy, too!!!

[ She's watching with the look of...well, fascination and also vague EW, WHY.

[He picks up the bug, sniffs it, and then eats half of it. There is an audible crunch. The things he'll do for hugs, honestly.

Ikki, of course, looks completely impressed and grossed out. Eating bugs: will actually impress small children. ]

[He leans down and gives her an evil look.]

[ She's going to try to dodge, although she's laughing.

[ The giggling laughter makes it pretty clear that she's having fun, too. ]
