Day 5

[risingwinds]

[When Ven spots Red's wounded Pokémon, he immediately drives his Glider to a halt. He's hung around Gold long enough to recognize Pokémon, and even without that knowledge, he's hardly one to turn a blind eye on the injured and distraught. It's just not in his nature.

So, swooping down over the kid, Ven leaps down from the Glider, kicking up dust as he lands. With armor coating him from head to toe, it's impossible to get a read on Ven's face. His Glider transforms into a strange, Key-shaped sword, and the tip shimmers with green light.]

Hey, d'you guys need any healing? You guys look like you're about to collapse...

[And that just won't do. Not when there's still loads of Third Party goons lurking in the city.]

[pokeboy]

[ Holy moly when did Keyblades become gliders-- I mean.

Well, people swooping down in that fashion is different. There's been another flying-type people or those who can jump long distances, but a flying mechanism is certainly different to spot coming down.

But while he can't tell anything about the person talking, it's easy to guess the fact that they're not the enemy just by the fact he's not attacking them. Red eyes Pikachu in his arms - really, a lot of what the pokémon could do with is rest to rejuvenate his electricity - but looks back over to the other person. ]

Can you do anything for him?

[ He doesn't move Pikachu from resting against him, but indicates to the pokémon by looking down at him briefly. ]

[risingwinds]

Well, how 'bout this for starters?

[With a flick of his Keyblade, a green light shoots around Pikachu-- a Curaga spell to tend his wounds.]

I dunno if it'll help much with the exhaustion, but I got a couple ethers tucked in my pocket if you want 'em. Otherwise, we should probably try to get somewhere safer.

[He's seen a couple buildings that'd work as shelter, but he'll wait to see what Red wants to do first. After all, he's not a trainer.]

[pokeboy]

[ Pikachu sighs at the healing effects of Curaga tend to the wounds and sores of his body, his small lips pinching together as he rests more easily against his trainer. Not all of what the spell does for his pokémon is obvious to him, though Red's ready to believe it's helping, inside.

And as long as it's not a magic that'll draw attention to them-- ]

I know somewhere we can go, but it's a little far. I just wanted them to get some rest for now...

[ Ethers would help, Red's sure, but it doesn't do anything for the lack of sleep Pikachu's been suffering. He gets up, using the rocky wall behind him to steady him. ]

Do you know somewhere closer?

[risingwinds]

I could always scope the area out a bit more, but if you wanted to take a shortcut...

[He tosses his Keyblade into the air, and it immediately flashes, transforming into its Glider form again-- a large hoverboard fit to carry at least two people.]

You ever gone flying before?

[pokeboy]

Yeah-- but not on one of those. [ He can barely even tell what it is despite seeing it briefly in action. ] But there's a first time for everything.

[ He's got a smile for that, askew as it is. ]

[risingwinds]

[Grinning, Ven climbs onto his Glider, stepping up to make room for Red and his partner.]

Just be sure to hang on tight, okay? It might not look like much, but this thing's like a rocket once it leaves the ground.

[Except, y'know, rockets actually have seats and walls to protect you. Gliders do not.]

[pokeboy]

[ There's an uneasy first step when Red moves towards the guy, dizzy from exhaustion and a stomach running on little to nothing. But he shakes it off quickly enough, joining on the glider, which... hopefully it isn't difficult to hang on or get into the correct position because I have no idea, Keyblade gliders look really funny to me!?

Though- hanging on to Red does sound like to put an arm around the dude. With only one hand, the other still holding onto Pikachu. ] Like this?

[ Totally gotta hang onto you, right dude? ]

[risingwinds]

Close enough!

[He'll give Red a few seconds to steady himself if necessary before slowly ascending towards the sky.]

Soooo, got any speed preferences? I can take it as slow or as fast as you want.

[pokeboy]

Anything that won't make me or Pika fall. You can make the call -- cap'n!

[ Really, no idea dude. He didn't have problem with Gold's flying pokémon, but he doesn't know how fast this guy can go in comparison. ]

[risingwinds]

Cap'n?

[He snorts, but nods, starting to kick the Glider into gear. It picks up a little speed-- think a bicycle rolling at a leisurely pace. Once Red adjusts, that's when they'll start cranking up the juice.]

Which way's that building you mentioned, anyway? The last thing I want's to make a wrong turn or anything.

[pokeboy]

Just keep going the way we're facing [ He can't exactly point. ] I'll tell you when to turn.

[ Ah-- ] And thanks, by the way.

[risingwinds]

Aw, don't mention it! I'd have to be a pretty big jerk to leave you guys hanging.

[So, just straight ahead... right. Well, in that case, Ven kicks up a bit more speed, occasionally glancing up above in case any Third Party creeps swoop in.]
