It's party time!

Who: You, and you, and you, and also you. Aaaand maybe even you. You know, just to be nice. In other words, everyone!
What: It's a birthday party for Masaomi disguised as a beach party for everybody! And you're invited!
When: June 19th.
Where: The ocean shore!
Summary: So Gold came up with this idea where he wanted to throw Masaomi a birthday party, because that's a thing he tends to do. But he wants it to be more than just a party, so he invited in the village to the birthday party under the pretense that it's also a beach party!
Rating: PG-13 at best. If it get beyond that, take it off the comm!

[Did someone say food table?

Food tables are Luke's natural habitat, especially at beach parties...though the last one he can remember well involved a lot more chaos and trepidation after the food was gone. He chows down in a modest way, keeping to himself until things get going at bit. He has no idea this is secretly a birthday party - he's just here to have fun. Besides! They have cake.

Anyone skulking near the table looking lonely, though, look out. Luke will offer his opinion on the best-tasting things and try to cheer you out of any doom and gloom.]

[Wouldn't you happen to know it? There is someone hanging around there, with a bit of gloom under that usually friendly exterior. Rudy's not in the mood for eating much, but a quick bite to eat would be nice.

Although he'll try to hide all that gloominess by smiling - it does get tiring after a while. So, there's times where it fades into something more vacant, preoccupied. Either way, he's quiet - more so than he usually is, as he looks over the table trying to decide what he wants. Looks like someone's having a little trouble focusing.]

[Luke's always up for adventures with Rudy; it's weird to see him looking so glum. So he sneaks up (getting harder as he gets incrementally taller) and snags a sweet treat of some kind with serving tongs, plopping it onto Rudy's plate.]

[Rudy's gaze is preoccupied and distant enough that he doesn't even notice Luke's sneaking up on him. But once he notices a pastry dropped onto his place (where did that come from?), he glances aside, noticing his friend.

There's a tiny smile for his friend as he greets him.]

Those good?

I think they are. Are you not having fun out here?

[Luke's plate is laden with goodies. It's not even his party.]

You could go home if you wanted, you know.

[Wow, Luke. ... Sometimes, Rudy can't tell if he's as bad (or worse) than Cecilia when it comes to eating a lot]

No, it's not that. [He shakes his head.] I've... got a lot on my mind right now.

[He'll smile anyway, or at least try to.] And besides, it's a party. It's supposed to be fun, right?

Oh. Do you, er...want to...talk about that?

[It used to be so easy to talk to people, or to get them to talk back, but Luke feels markedly awkward right this moment trying it.]

Some people don't think big parties are fun, maybe you're one of that sort.
