[September's clearing up some junk, occasionally pocketing things to carry off for some inscrutable purpose, and he stops to stare at mouse-man as he passes by the garden. Mickey is... visibly inhuman in the strangest way... and September is about as subtle as a punch in the face once he opens his mouth. Fortunately he hasn't yet. Just staring, which is obnoxious enough.]

[Mickey's been in Luceti long enough to know his kind isn't exactly normal. In other words, he's used to the stares. So when he feels September's eyes boring into him, he calmly looks right back, and waves.]

Well sure, on different worlds, there's all kinds of varieties. I know on some worlds, mice stayed really small, and can't say a word.

Sure were! I didn't see a human for years, up until I met my Master, Yensid. We don't have a single human on our world, y'see.
