locked to bulla, many apologies
It might make them look less conspicuous, so today, Vegeta and Bulla are flying over towards Agora. But they're going in the back way, making sure to steer clear of Theo's base of operations. Vegeta is defiant, but he's not stupid, and a fly over probably isn't in anyone's best interests.
Currently in the air, he flies next to his daughter, sternly keeping an eye on the land down below for their destination.]
Listen, we're not only going just so you can shop to your heart's content, alright?

I know. We have serious research to do, too. Just as long as we get in some shopping, I'll be happy. Especially if I can find a cute new outfit or two. At least then when I wash my clothes, I won't have to put wet ones back on.
[She's maturing somewhat. Shopping is still a high priority, but she's getting better at seeing the bigger picture. Or even thinking of little practical things rather than wanting to get as much as possible.]
...speaking of different outfits, maybe we'll be able to blend into Agora a little better if we're dressed like locals.

Just as long as we don't waste our whole day. I know how you are when you shop. Besides. I don't even know if they use currency. They don't fall underneath what we know as the Malnosso, you know.
If you want something, you just might have to figure out how to pay for it for a change.
Aaaah I thought I'd replied to this already
But in Luceti thing have always been free, so she's really never had to worry about how to pay for things. What she has learned is a little more about hard work and where her skill sets lie.]
I suppose I could always offer to do some heavy lifting or something in exchange for money. That would be a quick and easy way to earn some. Or maybe washing the windows of tall buildings.
s'ok
You're better off trading something. I've visited plenty of planets in my time and a good portion of them rely on trade to get things done. I'm sure there's a boar you could slaughter and bring back. That is, if your stomach can handle it. [There's a bit of a wicked grin. Have fun with that, city girl.]

[She did participate in Thor and Loki's winter solstice party where hunting was involved, even though she didn't actually kill any of the animals herself. She doesn't like the idea of killing animals, but if it's for food, it's okay. They all ate that boar that was hunted before...]

[Glancing down out of the corner of his eye, he can see the village they had come to visit.]
Now don't forget, we're here to see what we can learn about them too. Keep an eye out for anything useful. [Or anyone who might be gullible/naive enough to talk to them.]
no subject
[If anyone's going to get some information through talking rather than more aggressive methods of persuasion of the two of them, it's her.]

Come on. Landing just outside the village might be our best bet. I'm sure they've never seen anyone with small wings fly before.
[He makes sure to descend into a thicket of trees, tapping down and taking a look from here at the village from behind a tree. It's now or never, he guesses.]
no subject
[Yeah, she's definitely going to have to be the one who asks those kinds of questions. She touches down beside him and peeks around.]
Let's go!
[And without any further caution, she starts walking toward the village.]

[He's put his wings under his armor, which probably makes him stand out even more as they enter the village. Occasional looks are shot their way by some of the townsfolk, but Vegeta ignores it. He knows those looks all too well from his travels around the galaxy, and quite frankly he doesn't have time to be worrying about it. Letting Bulla do her shopping sounds as good of a start as anything else, so he's checking around to find where their bazaar is or where their shops were. Of course he's not asking anyone. It probably doesn't help that he's wearing his scary face too, which is deterring even small children from playing anywhere near him.]

She also approaches a man, gestures to her father and asks where she might be able to find some casual men's clothing because all her father has on him is his training gear. Yes, he IS really weight-lifting, sir. He's also done some competitive fighting in tournaments and takes it quite seriously, so could you point her in the direction of some men's athletic clothing? Thanks, you're awesome.
Her mingling goes on like that before she's at least able to find out where a lot of stores are. Now it's a matter of finding work.]
Okay, Dad. I've got a few leads. Maybe we can get you a loose t-shirt to throw on over your armor or something.
no subject
[He strides past what's obviously a clothing store, nodding his head at the entrance.] Go ahead. Go get your clothes. I'm going to go find something more productive. [And if he happens to find a cloak while he's at it, sweet.]
no subject
She's also got a poncho-style cloak for her father and finds him quickly enough. It's not hard to sense his energy.]
Ta-da~~ What do you think?
no subject
Come on. I figure the best way to get anything out of this place is to go to the ones suffering the most. They'll talk.
[Sorry Bulla this is businesssssss]

Don't forget to put on the cloak I got you. They'll probably be more comfortable talking to us if we don't obviously not fit in.
