Good she was gone. Finally gone. Sheena had been watching over Arietta considering the young girl was sick. But she left. She was gone. And Arietta found this time as a great one to go look for Ion. But now Allen knew that she would be walking around sick and offered to help. She refused it, but she wasn't going go to around looking for Allen to meet up with and then meet up with Ion. There was no time for that. To her, her job, title, everything was on the line.

She belonged to Ion and she rightfully had to return to him.

The girl stepped out of the house that belonged to Sheena and Arietta would start her search. She wasn't sure how she was going to find Ion or even where to start, but she would do it. She would ignore the fact that she was sick and probably running a fever. She would ignore the fact that she couldn't exactly see straight. Those things weren't important. Ion was important he came first.

Working with Arietta for a fraction of his known life gave him extrasensory abilities regarding the girl it seemed. For some reason, amidst his recitals of Yulia's daily scores and reorganizing his house, a nagging sort of feeling wouldn't stop irritating him. It had been that way for some time now, ever since he spoke to the girl named Sheena (oh, he hoped that was her name!) regarding his former attendant.

"Lady Yulia did say following one's heart is important," he mumbled, his voice carrying its usual dark and enigmatic tone as he sighed and twisted his door knob before giving the heavy woodwork a shove.

His small feet trampled thoughtlessly over the path of flowers paving his porch. Ion's dark eyes grazed slowly over the infested area with mild interest. Right now, something told him Arietta was distressed at the very least, and that possessive thought lingered in the back of his mind as he set onward down the path of beaten and vibrant flowers.

The Fon Master bid the woman he was speaking to previously a quick thank you before turning slowly and continuing his search. He did not seem to be in any particular hurry; he knew that Arietta would most likely sooner find him at any rate, but simply sitting idly on his porch would fill him with agitation and that was not an emotion Ion wished to harbor.

Not only that, but he did hear Arietta was rather sick. He noted to himself that he would have to properly scold the girl for rushing recklessly simply to find him while in her condition.

The idea to check near the forest suddenly dawned on him; the girl always did enjoy time around there, and it was possible she ventured there in an attempt to reach out to nature for a cure for whatever illness she bore. With that, the taciturn form turned once more and headed just for that spot.

He wasted no time lingering in the forest; if Arietta had been there she would have smelled him and let her presence be known. Ion left the overly wooded area , his patience dwindling in slight contrast to his worry.

He approached the small village, his eyes actively scanning the area as he came in. His looking was not in vain; in an almost anticlimactic manner, his eyes fell upon the limping and flushed form a great distance away from him. Ion knew immediately from the fragility of her appearance and the shock of pink hair that it was indeed Arietta.

His face remained as stoic as ever as he quickly approached the ill form, calling her name but once upon drawing near enough to her. Her acute hearing would pick it up, and internally he hoped the sound of his voice for the first time in years would be enough to soothe her soul for at least a moment.

He said nothing else; words were not needed in his eyes. In a fashion that was gentle and only for Arietta, he extended his hand to the girl's outstretched one and held in fast, as if he had no intention of letting go after that point.

"Can you stand? Would you like me to carry you?" he asked with a casualness that sounded as if they had not spent aeons apart from one another. In Ion's eyes, they hadn't.

He didn't bother to wait for a true response. He briefly let go of the girl's small hand in order to scoop her up into his arms with relative ease.

"I'll take you to my house," he said with finality as he turned with the precious bundle in his arms and headed for the overly flowered but nevertheless homey cabin he took residence in.
