Mass-Interaction in Desset
Who: Draftees.
What: FIGHT FOR YOUR LIVES... or wander around. idfk.
When: Anytime this week.
Where: Desset City
Summary: Mass-interaction post in the city for the poor souls who've been drafted.
Rating: Anywhere from PG to R.
[With permission from the mods, I've gone ahead and put up this... post... for everyone who was interested in actually threading in the city. You can either prose or write in first-person; totally up to you. Actually threading a fight with the Third Party is also optional. Just keep in mind that if you do you'll have to be the one controlling the enemy's actions and whatnot. If you're not sure how to go about that, just remember the information they've provided us with. They're not very tough, but if you still need an idea with how they fight, just read up on this a bit. Please do remember that the enemies we're fighting are weaker compared to the ones previously fought, though. |D;
But yeah. Mass-interaction, guys. YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO.]

[The black haired man transforms into the winged demon, slashing his claws at the Third Party soldiers in front of him before taking to the sky.]
[Chaos has taken over.]

[Cid's vehicle of choice for that day was a pickup truck with a full gas tank that he'd hotwired to get out of the garage - it had room for his spear and various other "items" and was really effective at clearing out smaller obstacles and even a couple of the enemy. But Chaos...]
[He can't bring Chaos down alone and he knows it.]
Shit.
[He's leaning out the window to catch a better glimpse of the demon that was his friend, then pulls himself back in to jam the accelerator down and take off after him. Get him down first, then worry about getting him out. Pulling into an open plaza at breakneck speed and hitting the brakes hard enough to squeal the tires and spin the big-ass truck around, Cid grabs his spear in one hand, reaching for the materia embedded in the shaft, then sticks his left arm out the window and aims the highest possible Comet spell right at Vincent.]

[But there's Comet, incoming! Chaos is hit with the spell at full blast, an inhuman roar filling the air as he's knocked to the ground. The spell takes out a great deal of his energy, and it also makes him Mad.]
[Shaking out his somewhat charred wings, Chaos swoops back to the air, although less steadily. He focuses his intense, hateful gaze onto Cid. Along with a fiery blast aimed right for Cid and the vehicle. CHAOS SABER, GO!]

[Cid slams it down again and screeches the truck out of the blast of the fireball - he's not getting out of this machine until Chaos is down. He hooks the spear behind his neck as he drives to stay in contact with the weapon (and the materia) with his right hand, then switches hands on the wheel and throws out his left again.]
[Time for more magic - Freeze this time.]
no subject
[He sends another blast toward the vehicle, swooping in closer afterward. He wants to get his claws on the living flesh of that human in the metal-thing.]
[But then it's another spell, DIRECT HIT! Chaos is going down, and out of it. He's taken a pretty bad blast of Ice damage... and is Stopped, unable to move.]
[...FOR NOW.]

[Cid wheels the truck around again, keeping an eye on where the demon falls, then guns it in the direction that he went down. It only takes a brief time of searching to find him - and when he does, Cid swears once again.]
Fuck!
[Chaos is still moving. Not much, and there's not very many places he can go, but Cid knows this - take him down or no more Vince. Only one thing left he can do.]
[Biting on the cigarette in his teeth, he slams on the gas pedal again - he's only got about a hundred yards to the demon, as well.]
no subject
[As the truck slams into Chaos, it adds to his injuries, and renders him unconscious in the process. Remarkably, he still lives after that. It would definitely take a LOT more power to kill him entirely, but fortunately for Cid that's not needed to get rid of him this time. Being knocked out as he is, his consciousness fades to the background. He de-transforms from monster to human.]

[Cid bails from the truck, still holding his spear, and runs over to his friend - and finally, finally Chaos is gone. Vince isn't doing too good, but he's got a fix for that, too: it takes most of the rest of his magic, but he casts Full-Cure on the ex-Turk and waits to see what effect it has. If they're ambushed, he can fight them off, but he'd rather Vincent just wake up really quickly.]
no subject
[Anyway. Vincent lays there a moment as the spell takes effect, healing truck-induced damage that's carried over. His breathing steadies and he drifts back to consciousness. Although, frustratingly, the mental battle in his head isn't letting up. His mind is a very dangerous place right now and he knows it's still going to be a fight to contain Them.]
[But he finally has regained enough of his senses to realize where he is and what needs to happen now. Vincent half-sits up and looks to Cid with a subtle nod of thanks.]
...We cannot linger here.
no subject
[And he's grabbing Vince's hand to pull the taller man to his feet, ready to act as a support until he can get his legs working properly. The truck's pretty dented now so he's not trusting it, but he does go over to get his explosives out of it first.]
Let's get ya back t'the hotel.
no subject
...They're too strong.
[He sounds even more detached than usual, as he's so mentally distracted. He waits for Cid to gather his things.]
