SPECIAL NOTE!! - Since this didn't come up before (but should have, my bad), there are actually a minimum of 400 Third Party soldiers in each area as opposed to in total. This means there are 1200 of them over all.

Oh? Mine is... not a friend.

[His gaze travels around the room.] Are these your weapons?

[herotypical]

I'm not sure mine's a friend, either.

[She smiles.] They're ones I asked for. I try not to get too attached.

[i_speak_softly]

[He doesn't mean to be insulting, but for conscience's sake he has to ask:] Are you trained with these, Buffy?

[herotypical]

[She laughs; she gets this a lot.]

Yep. I got all my extracurriculars in.

[i_speak_softly]

[You get a raised brow.] Strange hobby for a guidance counsellor.

[herotypical]

I didn't start out as a counsellor. That came later. More like counselling's the hobby.

[i_speak_softly]

[He looks again at the impressive collection of weaponry.] I'm almost afraid to ask what your real job is.

[herotypical]

I'll tell you, if you want to know.

[She shrugs. She's not shy about it.] You might not believe it, though.

[i_speak_softly]

It can't be less believable than some other things I've heard here. [Well... maybe it can. Try him.]

[herotypical]

[The rather petite, five-foot-three blonde cracks a cocky smile.]

I'm a vampire slayer. Formerly the Slayer. As in, only one. One girl in all the world. So I know my way around a few blades and things.

[i_speak_softly]

[Unphased. He has already met someone in that line of work.] You must not be from the same world as Derek, then. Do you know him?

[herotypical]

I do. He and I are tight. Tightish. I think. His kinda vamp-slaying is rather different from mine, though.

[i_speak_softly]

Really? His kind sounded pretty unpleasant, and... [He casts a pointed glance at the nasty-looking weapons decorating the room. They do not put one in mind of friendly tea parties.]
