Who: All Draftees
What: Killing Third Party members and taking names
When: 7/26 - 7/31
Where: Sirry Crags
Summary: Mass-interaction for those out on the battlefield. Feel free to make team threads along with individual ones or however you wish. Action tags are fine here along with prose. For those plotting mischief, this is the place to do it.
Rating: R for the likely violence since killing will most definitely happen, but this is more for interactions during the battles.

[And early on the 26th everyone gets sent out. Thanks to Caesar's organization, most everyone has been placed in groups, even if some people plan on leaving their groups at some point. Check out this post for the details. If you haven't posted to this post and want your character on a team, please do so.]

Special note: Ignore the comments that said there would be 400, that has been retconned and we were told 1200 Third Party members from the start. Enjoy killing them off and taking names.

Special note 2: I asked Akai if any of the Third Party will be coming and dealing with their incapacitated allies, and they will. So assume that unless something is done to prevent this, those injured Third Party members may come back later healed and ready to attack again (though possibly not as effectively).

[China looks down from his perch, rifle resting across his knees as he aims a smile down at him. He rises from the rock to skid down so they can talk properly.]

It was. And thank you, aru. [A small grin.] I thought it'd be good, considering the others' in our group's way of fighting.

[identity profile] ahappylie.livejournal.com 2010-07-28 03:22 am (UTC)(link)
[He removes his long sword from his obi belt and holds it to his side as he sits so he and China are a bit out of view of the battlefield.]

Very good. I owe you a few times back there.

I've never fought these people before. ...it's more difficult than I anticipated.

[identity profile] 4000ages.livejournal.com 2010-07-28 09:30 am (UTC)(link)
[China sinks down, somewhat wearily as he rubs a hand against his neck, kneading his fingers into it.]

Haah...quite. There are also many of them in compared to how many of us there are.

[identity profile] ahappylie.livejournal.com 2010-07-28 09:44 am (UTC)(link)
[Okita notes this and moves over, motioning for Yao to turn around.]

Yes, but we seem to be doing well so far. At least, our casualties are far fewer.

[identity profile] 4000ages.livejournal.com 2010-07-28 10:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Indeed. They don't seem as adept as fighters as we are.

[China gives him an inquiring look, but turns all the same.]

[identity profile] ahappylie.livejournal.com 2010-07-29 12:47 am (UTC)(link)
Lucky for us.

[Okita gives massages on a regular basis to people with sore necks and shoulders. For a teammate, he has no qualms about doing it again and will tentatively start pressing his fingers against Yao's neck to help work out the kinks.]

Their numbers do seem to make up for their lack of skill, but thanks to the organization we had before, it seems this battle is going much to our favor.

[identity profile] 4000ages.livejournal.com 2010-07-29 02:17 am (UTC)(link)
[There's a small tensing along China's shoulders before he tries to concentrate on getting himself to relax--though that got difficult to do a few centuries ago. He rests his arms on his knees, eyes focused down.]

Hah, yes, the strategy is working well for our advantage. Though I believe a member of our team wandered off.

I was wondering about that... Did you see where he went? I was busy at the time and couldn't catch his position.

[And he'll just keep massaging poor China's shoulders and neck. :( Poor old guy. /shot ]

[identity profile] 4000ages.livejournal.com 2010-07-29 02:09 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm afraid I didn't notice, aru, I was preoccupied as well...I suppose if he can, did, he must be confident enough he'll be able to take care of himself.

[It's true. Old man is old.] Haaah, still, he should've remained with us...

[identity profile] ahappylie.livejournal.com 2010-07-30 12:12 am (UTC)(link)
I suppose so...although it would have been nice to have the extra hands on the field. [Old man is v. old. :( Not that...Okita knows that, but still.]

The hotheaded never do, though. At least he's still fighting somewhere and not just watching us doing nothing.

[identity profile] 4000ages.livejournal.com 2010-07-30 11:46 am (UTC)(link)
[Well, you'll find out eventually, Okita.] Hmm, it would have, aru, but...

Better he's fighting than just letting us do all the work. [He chuckles.]

[identity profile] ahappylie.livejournal.com 2010-07-30 11:48 am (UTC)(link)
[Taking his elbow, he digs it lightly into China's shoulder, smiling faintly.]

It seems everyone is doing their part so far, which is rather nice. It allows us to have these little reprieves, yes?

[identity profile] 4000ages.livejournal.com 2010-07-30 12:23 pm (UTC)(link)
[ngfkljgl alright, that's not so bad.]

Ah yes. Little as they are...they certainly help, aru.

[identity profile] ahappylie.livejournal.com 2010-07-30 12:25 pm (UTC)(link)
[He's good at massages.]

Do you suffer from stiff shoulders often? I can help you with them, when we return to the village.

[identity profile] 4000ages.livejournal.com 2010-07-30 12:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, I'm afraid so. [China blinks over one shoulder.]

You'd do that, aru? Korea usually makes a fuss and insists on giving me massages, but it's been quite a while.

[identity profile] ahappylie.livejournal.com 2010-07-30 11:23 pm (UTC)(link)
I used to give my commander massages quite often.

[He presses his elbow into China's other shoulder.]

...What a strange name for a friend. Why did they name him after a country?

[identity profile] 4000ages.livejournal.com 2010-07-31 01:02 am (UTC)(link)
[That will get an incomprehensible noise. That's definitely working to relax at least some of that tension.]

Ah--not named after...countries have personified forms, in my world.

[identity profile] ahappylie.livejournal.com 2010-07-31 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
[He's used to such things so he keeps going.]

....personified forms? As in, the countries are people? But how do people live in them?

[identity profile] 4000ages.livejournal.com 2010-07-31 01:34 pm (UTC)(link)
We have both forms like these, and geographical forms, aru.

[identity profile] 4000ages.livejournal.com 2010-07-31 01:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Human forms. [He lifts his own hand for emphasis.]

[identity profile] ahappylie.livejournal.com 2010-08-01 01:11 am (UTC)(link)
[And wait a minute, did Yao just say 'we' and indicate himself? What what what.]

....

...............

...you're...a country?

[identity profile] 4000ages.livejournal.com 2010-08-01 01:18 am (UTC)(link)
[China clears his throat awkwardly. His expression is almost sheepish.]

Yes. I'm China.

1/2

[identity profile] ahappylie.livejournal.com 2010-08-01 01:22 am (UTC)(link)
[WOW WHAT.]

2/3 i lied

[identity profile] ahappylie.livejournal.com 2010-08-01 01:22 am (UTC)(link)
[No, that has to be impossible. There is no way that people....can be countries. Can they? No.

But...
