Summary: It was requested that a general reactionary log be tossed up when the quake happens so people can react in their own way without having a zillion posts. Individual posts are obviously still fine, but this might help people out.

[Haruki blinks, but then notices his own damage on his arm there. Fine, fine. He tosses the flashlight over to Minato and gets to mopping up his arm.]

[now in possession of the light, Minato gets to his feet, half crouching under the buckled ceiling. He shines the light up, noting the cracked portion doesn't seem to be moving anywhere for now, then turns to the door. It's ajar, and he gives it an experimental shove. It moves a few inches, then stops against something hard. Blocked.]

[Mop mop... and there. Haruki tries to stand too, but then noting that he would easily hit his head on the ceiling he thinks better of that and just crouches, glancing around as best he can in the limited light]

Same here. [It's out in the ruins of the living room, somewhere.... along with his Evoker.

still, they can't just sit and wait for help. With an earthquake like that, they can't be the only ones trapped. Now he moves as far to the other side of the room as he can, looking through the smashed bathroom cupboards for anything useful.]

[Haruki, however, just stays put. Because he's still not sure what to do - he's even a little shocked, really. Because what the hell was all that]

[the earthquake was shocking, but it shoved Minato into action mode, which means he looks more awake now than Haruki's probably ever seen him before. he continues prowling looking for anything useful. A pipe, a metal bar...]

[Well to be sure there's probably a partially smashed or at least cracked tub over there. And a sink pipe and, well. Stuff like that. Okay.]

[well what he's looking for is something to help lever the door off its hinges. also that water seems to be leaking pretty badly now...

[Finally, he takes up the flashlight himself to look around again]

[he indicates the door while still eying the plumbing under the sink.] If we can take the hinges off, maybe we can climb out.

Huh. Yeah... guess so. Or we could try breaking the walls.

[...Oh well. He starts to look around here too]

[That sounds extreme, but okay. One of the walls may have been weakened. In the meantime he continues to yank at the plumbing, finally succeeding in procuring a length of fractured pipe. It's wet and more water is seeping into the area, though oddly enough it doesn't all seem to be from the plumbing area. There must be more leaks in the walls.]

[...That is odd. But then Haruki has only just noticed that. He looks to the door and then, lamely-]

I'll push it if you wedge the thing.

[...he nods, and stands up.]

Right. [Excuse him while he positions himself all better like on the door to be ready to shove]

[And he positions the pipe for leverage.]

One... two... Three.

[And he... slams into it with all the strength and size he has - which is pretty considerable, honestly. And with their combined effort, the door opens. But it doesn't reveal the next room - or well it does. It revelas the collapsed crawlspace of what was probably once the hallway that lead to Haruki room. There's a door to his room.... but it's mostly just fallen crap.

And dirt. Dirt and there's a hole in the "roof" - not big enough to crawl through or anything, but there is enough to see ... the wall of collapsed ground. The wall of the tunnels, actually.]

[well. Minato watches the dirt trickling down the slope for a moment. There's no light coming through the hole... wherever they are, it's fairly far down.]

[This is him saying that incredulously. What the hell is this]

...Looks like it.

[Minato is outwardly calm, but... the situation really doesn't look good. He takes a step forward, looking to see how much space they have to work with now.]

[He whistles a little because in spite of himself this is a new one. The situations even kinda cool. He's glad for the flashlight but... still. He looks around too, but it doesn't seem that the door opened that much more to him and the door to his room seems to be... a little pushed forward towards them.

...So did the whole house fall-]

...Where are the others?

[that is a good question. He tries raising his voice.]

Shiki! Neku-kun?

[--but there's no answer.]

[He's louder. but from the den comes... no response at first, but then she's a small voice which echoes back from somewhere the right - in the midst of all the broken beams of the house - that echoes back "Shiki?" in a confused voice. Haruki blinks but then races on over to see if he can't move some of that out of the way to find the person]
