Summary: It was requested that a general reactionary log be tossed up when the quake happens so people can react in their own way without having a zillion posts. Individual posts are obviously still fine, but this might help people out.

[You really don't want to get a look at what's underneath that pantleg. How he's not in a ball of sobbing misery is pretty much a mystery. Even if he's probably been crying silently this whole time. What a trooper.]

[Yeah, he doesn't want to look at something horrifying and share Shuri's bucket. He's not really accustomed to seeing a whole lot of horrifying injuries.]

I don't know... we'll have to go looking for someone while you rest. Hopefully Teito will find something to give you so it won't hurt as much.

[If he sees it, he might just faint. He wants to go to bed now, but moving into bed might be kind of tricky.]

[ it's right about now that Teito rushes in with an arm full of bandages. ]

I can at least set it and bandage him up until we find a doctor or someone that can heal.

[Hoo boy. Mikage nods, grabbing a bit of the sheets and twisting it up, stuffing it in his mouth and urging him back to pin him with a quiet apology.]

What? No-! [A frightened sound escapes him and he thrashes, bright blue eyes wild with fear. And then he can't even protest, there's something in his mouth and Mikage's holding him down and Teito's apologizing.

He squeezes his eyes tightly shut.]

[ sighs and feels around for the break, gently. once he gets a feel for how it's been broken. ]

Take a deep breath and brace yourself, Shuri.

[ because Teito's going to grip it tightly and SNAP it back into place. it will do until they can find someone. ]

[....Oh man, that was not a pleasant feeling at all, even if he didn't really feel it himself. He's heard bones break before, and he'd thought that was terrible; setting them back was much worse. He's wincing for you, Shuri.]

[That's definitely a scream coming from him. He's never been in so much pain in his life. He strains against Mikage in a vain attempt to break free and then, just goes limp.]

I really wish I had a healing Zaiphon right now...

Mikage. Is there something we can use as a temporary brace?
