Who: Kain, Rydia... Open! Especially FFIV people for the mindbreaking, but anyone who also wants in is welcome. XD
What: Fiiiiiight against the Esper, Zeromus.
When: At the end, as all boss battles properly should be- the last day of the Summons rampage.
Where: Somewhere in town.
Summary: There's been crazed Eidolons all over the place, but they probably didn't expect to see this one...
Rating: PG-13ish? Expect violence! XD


[At this rate, even Kain is getting worn out from the constant fighting. But he's had some rest in the cave with Rydia and is once again ready to take on whatever they'll find next. He walks around town with a wary expression. His spear is clenched tightly in hand and he looks ready to use it on anyone who crosses his path.]

[...and of course that's when he notices the ominous figure just ahead. He very nearly drops his spear as the shock of the sight hits him. But that's no Eidolon! His mind protests at once, but he can't deny what he's seeing. Zeromus is HERE, alive, and a threat that must be destroyed. Again.]

[Not to mention all the personal reasons he has for despising him...]

[Immediately, Kain rushes forward to charge at the dark figure.]

[Golbez remains standing straight, but only through sheer force of awesome will. It takes him a few moments to speak up.]

Well done, all of you. Especially you, Ceodore, and you, Rydia. Ceodore, without your timely arrival I believe we would have all fallen. And Rydia, you worked with me wonderfully. I was most pleased we were able to get Twin Meteor off.

[Kain'll probably be insulted, but Golbez really doesn't care. His nephew needs the ego boost and Rydia deserves the most praise out of all of them.]

[Naturally Kain IS insulted, Golbez knows this all too well. Not that he wants praise from GOLBEZ, of course, it's just the principle of the thing. He gives him a harsh scowl and then steps a little away from the party. He needs a moment to settle his mind after that and Golbez certainly isn't helping matters.]

[Ceodore's not all that sure he deserves the praise being lavished on him. He didn't contribute that much, in his opinion. He nods once though and beams. Really, one does not argue with Golbez. He's pretty commanding.]
