What: Miu's birthday party!
When: Starting specifically at about 2PM but it should last until night-fall ish so show up whenever.
Where: The lot behind the Brigade HQ (so just off town square)
Summary: Miu announced her birthday, Haruki made a party happen, and now it's time for the main event!

[Okay, so there's been a bit of spitting rain all day, big deal. It's still time for a party and Haruki wasn't going to let that ruin Miu's birthday. Just in case the rain picks up any he's taken the liberty (or rather forced the Brigade to, if you're a member feel free to assume he forced this on you) of setting up several large tents over the area he's designed for the festivities.

And what it is. A table or two with food and cake (again, feel free to assume he twisted you arm for it, but he probably made some himself too), a table for people to get presents up and going, a little make-shift throne he made for Miu herself if she wants it, and plenty of room to talk and dance and such if wanted. And why dance, you ask?

Because he also had people set up that stage that Mitsuru made for when his Brigade put on a play. In case Miichan wanted to do a live concert for her fans. Yes, everything seems to be in order and he's proud for it too.]

[Of course, this is all threadjack style, so anyone can reply whenever they want and to whoever they want and such. Once Miu gets p her thread for receiving presents I'll link it up here but feel free to mingle among yourselves and enjoy the shindig and such.

Um, don't hate me for this or anything, but...I might have told him we're mutants.

He was just so interested, talking about everyone's abilities and how accepting everyone is, it just sort of...slipped out.

I didn't tell him anything about you though, I swear!

I guess I just got excited that people wouldn't think it's such a big deal. I think he even thought it was cool.

[He lets out a sigh, calming himself down. She was right, of course. There was no reason to make a big deal out of it.]

I guess that makes sense. He told me there's all kind of weird people in the Brigade. Like... someone who is part demon, an alien, and something called a senshi. I didn't really believe him at the time, though.

I guess I kind of want to believe him, you know? It's like a whole village full of kids like us.

Yeah, that would be something. Maybe he's right? I mean, there's Batman... and that flying woman we met.

And Jenny. She thought your teleporting was the coolest thing ever. She didn't even freak out for a second when she saw you.

Yeah, that's true. But she's from another planet, maybe she's just used to that?

But if the whole place is full of people like her, then everyone should be like that, right?

... not really. A little girl saw me when I had the imager off. I managed to scare her pretty good.

...Oh. [Damn you, wishful thinking. She's disappointed.] Maybe not, then.

... but she did get over it pretty quickly. [Probably because what little girl doesn't like having a big, blue cuddly friend?]

Well that's good. [And adorable.]

Yeah, a real cute kid, for sure.

I really don't think this place is so bad. I mean, it's not like we're not used to being away from home. And even if we start missing everybody, I think the Brigade is a good way to make new friends. Even if it is a little weird.

Yeah, you're right. Besides, the school year is starting again here. Maybe it won't be so bad? [Although... he'd been looking forward to summer break, only to fast forward to another world where said break was almost over.]

[She'd complain if she wasn't looking forward to it so much.]

I wonder what kind of things they'll teach us here. There's no way they would teach stuff like History like they do at home.

Yeah, and what are the classes like? It's kind of a small village. We'll probably be in the same ones, I bet.

Would that make me a senior? [Because she's totally cool with skipping a year] I bet it wouldn't even count back at home.

Ha, right. Like anyone is going to believe this, yeah?

Seriously. [Okay, enough of this. The music's started up by the stage, and she just wants to dance.

She gets up and rounds the table, ready to grab Kurt and drag him with her to the dance floor if she can.] But for now, we'll make the most of it. C'mon, let's party!

[Okay, this surprises him, but he's not exactly unwilling. One moment of awkwardness passes and he's over it. He'll follow her on up.]

Time for the fuzzy dude to shake it!
