HOUSE 48 MOVIE NIGHT!

With Litchi still out of sorts, what better way to pass the time than by staying up late and watching countless mind-numbing chick flicks with wafer-thin plots? It's fun for the whole family. Well, not so much the whole family, but it's fun for Litchi and Tsubaki, what with them being hopeless romantics and all. As for the others? A fate arguably worse than death awaits them.

It's sure to be just grand.]

It's not a simple tale. Despite what some works of fiction would have us believe, romance is really very complicated. [According to some other works of fiction. Which are, clearly, authoritative sources.]

And it may be a little slow moving in the beginning, but once things pick up, the time just flies by.

[When Litchi clings to his arm, it sort of snaps him out of his mental dogfights. He gently pats Litchi's arm. The tears in her eyes are obvious by this point, but he won't say anything.

And he silently agrees with Rachel about the lack of preparation. But... there is the drama aspect. And because he doesn't want to upset Litchi or Tsubaki, he keeps his mouth shut.]

[Okay, now Tsubaki's clinging to David's other arm.

Charles is courageously wrestling with a killer bear snow panda when a sudden gust of wind blows Gloria's coincidentally torn and seemingly bloodied scarf into his line of vision. Fearing the worst, he loses the will to go on.

But as it turns out, it wasn't blood at all. Merely paint. Oh, those animal rights activists... what have they done?]

And here I had not thought it possible for this film to grow more contrived.
