Summary: HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE TRAUMA. FREE FOR ALL IN THE SCARRING EXPERIENCES DEPARTMENT.
Rating: Gosh. I'm not sure. However, I suggest you hide your little'uns.

Basically, the purpose of this log is TRAUMA SPAM. If you didn't want to spam your flist with extra posts, or you wanted to post with more than one character -- or more than one character more than once! -- here is your place to be.

This will be a commentspam style log where you can thread start with your character hallucinating things. Whatever you wish it to be! It can even just be a more general thread start where they're not hallucinating anything -- yet. And each thread can get treated like a post, where that character's CR can react to the trauma going down!

If you still wish to actually post in your character's journal, you're of course totally allowed to do so. This is just here for funtiems and convenience for everyone who wanted a greater chance to post during this event! Feel free to use it anytime over the next few days, through Halloween, to do "posts" and threads with your characters.

[ looking at him rather doubtfully. he couldn't actually be fine, could he? ] ... even if it's not real, it's still scary. [ she's maybe not talking about him now, though.

her brows knit at the question, and she rubs her hands up and down her arms. ]

... I was, until all the scary things started. Most of them don't bother me too much, since it's easy to tell they aren't real, but some of them... [ she gives her head a quick shake ] I'll be glad when this is over.

[goldenglasses]

Yeah... I guess it was too much to hope for that the costumes would be - [Xion, why are all your pours bleeding? Oh wait, never mind, it's gone.]

[ that's funny. at the same moment he sees her start to bleed, he looks to her, for just a moment, to be the person of his costume. for just the barest instant, he seems to leer at her with an exceptionally terrifying smile, hideous in that terribly scarred face.

she reacts a little bit more openly than he does, taking a sudden step back as her eyes shoot very wide. but when the illusion vanishes -- and all is of course normal -- she puts a hand over her mouth and looks away, speaking from behind her fingers. ]

It shouldn't have been. It shouldn't have been too much to hope, the Malnosso do so many awful things to us, it didn't need to go this far! I... [ she makes a tiny frustrated noise and shuts her eyes for a moment. ]

[goldenglasses]

[It doesn't take Vash much to believe she saw something, if not him, then around him. He tries to tell himself it's not him she's afraid of, it's what she's seeing, but it still hurts to be feared again.

It's him! It's the Humanoid Typhoon! Everyone run! He'll kill us all!

When he speaks, he speaks with a bit more volume than normal as he tries to talk over the voices in his head.]

Hopefully, it won't be too much longer. Halloween is on the 31st right? Hopefully it will be over then.

[ she startles slightly at the increased volume of his voice, blinking at him once or twice. why would he...? unless, maybe, he's just trying to talk loud enough to drown all of this out.

she couldn't blame him for trying. ] That's what I was thinking, too. I really hope so. I just ho-- [ a pause. if she says it out loud, will she jinx it? it can't be too much to hope that the day itself won't be worse, right?

... no. that's way too much to hope. Xion just goes quiet, finally lowering her hand and sighing dispiritedly. ]

[goldenglasses]

[Vash will move closer to put a friendly hand on your shoulder. (The one without a claw) He'll smile a smile that he hopes still looks reassuring under the make-up.] Don't worry. Soon enough I'm sure this will just be another memory we can look back on and laugh.

[fourteen]

... you really think we'll be able to laugh about all of this? [ incredulous, but smiling faintly ]

[goldenglasses]

Sure, we'll look back and wonder how we could be fooled by such silly visions. [Like the bloodied Rem frowning at him from behind you. It's not real. It's not real.]

[ her eyebrows draw up, her smile fading. there's nothing silly about seeing a Keyblade, the instrument of your death, appear in your hands over and over again. there's nothing silly about any of this. somberly ]

I don't think there's anything silly about them. Still, I hope you're right.

[goldenglasses]

[Alright, so trying to take on a light tone isn't going to help this time.] Yeah... I know. Most are just down right cruel, but maybe eventually those will fade away from our memories. [Not likely, he knows.] And eventually we'll only remember the not so bad ones.

The other day I thought the donut I was trying eat was trying to bite off my finger. That was pretty strange. [He wipes away a fake tear.] I don't think I'll ever be able to eat donuts again! Well... at least maybe not for a few days. [He's going for the joke to make you smile.]
