It's all for the donuts
Who: Vash (
goldenglasses), Rogue (
touchofrogue), and a random troll named Wolfwood (
not_a_bluesbro )
When: Saturday, November 20th
Where: Vash’s bedroom. >D
Summary: During his morning meditation, Vash has a crash-in visitor and a nice little coma nap.
Rating: PG, come on people! They’re all wearing clothes!
Vash awoke as he did every morning; eyes slowly opening as he slipped away from the night’s dream. He yawned as he pushed himself slowly upwards and gave his bed hair a ruffle. He hadn’t particularly liked last night’s dream. It was more like a nightmare really, but it was gone now and it was another chilly day in Luceti.
He took a deep breath and crossed his legs in bed. Shutting his eyes as he began his morning meditation. The subjects are of love and peace, he usually quits after about three seconds, but this morning the meditation is going to be cut off a little short.

For now he'll sleep peacefully on the bed for a few minutes.

Much older.
It's a dangerous thing, to give in to a psyche's desires, but she likes that red coat too... and she needs to cover up. Vash seems like an understanding sort, he'll be all right if she sticks around explains things - and he'll explain more too. Those images of death don't scare her. She's absorbed Wolverine and Sabertooth, she's seen what they've seen and done what they've done and she has blood on her hands too.
Mystique. Apocalypse.
She slips it on. It's old comfortable leather, fits just right - no, it's too big - and starts to look for the gloves that she knows he has. She slips them on and settles on to the floor with her back to the wall, facing the sunrise.
He likes it. -There's laughter and teasing and two girls with dark hair- She does too.

"Sorry about - that." She waves one gloved hand at him a little weakly. "I didn't do it on purpose. I'm Rogue."

There's a pause as it sinks in what she could mean when she says that she knows who he is. "How much do you know about me?"
no subject
He's not going to like this.
Do you blame him?
No.
Just tell him, he'll understand.
Nobody understands.
Ya got people lookin' out for ya--
Listening to the voices in your head is a good way to get driven crazy. "Look. I don't want to take up too much of your time. I stuck around to make sure you're okay, since my powers are weird here. I'll tell you what happened, but if I do you have to promise not to freak out, okay?"

But she does know him now, so... she takes a deep breath. "When you touched me, I absorbed your memories, your lifeforce... and your powers." She touches her right arm over to her left and taps it twice, so he knows exactly what she's talking about.
"They're a part of me now. Along with some of your impressions of this place... Luceti, right?" There's a bit of a quiver there, as if she's trying not to be scared; as if things this terrible happen every day but she's still not used to it and it shows. "I can't control it. You're just lucky I was able to get off you in time."
no subject
There’s something else that’s important too. “You said we were lucky. What could have happened?”
no subject
Freak.
Vampire.
SHUT-UP.
She drops her gaze and wraps her arms a little tighter around her legs. "They don't stay in the same way regular memories do. It's just like - I've got a little part of you inside of me. I can pick at it for now, but soon I won't be able to do that. And your powers are gone too. But if I hadn't let go... you might not have woken up."
And your voice would be a hellofa lot stronger.

"I'm just stuck in an alternate world without any way home."
With wings.

"Anyway, that's why I borrowed your coat. I'd give it back, but I need something else to wear."

Can that damn spikey-headed spaz try not to ruin his morning? Wolfwood gets it—you like waking up, smelling the wonderful foresty morning air, cooking breakfast
that he was just going to end up stealing, but can't you do him the favor of being quiet while you're up and at 'em?! Suffice to say, the knob turns and the door swiftly opens to reveal a semi-disheveled Wolfwood, chin unshaven and pajamas still in place."What the hell, needle noggin?!"
Kuroneko may or may not have roosted on his head (at this point, he's too groggy to give two sh—

And when that's all done with, he slowly... slowly...
closes the door.
Carry on, ladies.

Of course, while this thought bounces around Vash's head the door is already on it's way to being shut. "W-Wolfwood! This isn't what it looks like!"
no subject
"...well, that was awkward."

He suddenly stops his search and slaps his head. "Oh, yeah. I didn't get to fully explain this place before we were rudely intrupted. The housing is free here too. You should also be able to find your clothes at the clothing shop."
no subject
"I guess I'll head out there first. It would be good to get my own gloves."
no subject
He turns back to rummaging through the closet and brings out a pair of boots. "They'll be a bit big, but you can use these too if you'd like."
