IIIIT'S ADVENTURE TIME!!
Who: Elicia and a bunch of sorry souls!
What: Elicia's mallynapping problem is narrating people's day into horrible 5-year-old's stories. Good luck, soldiers. o7
When: The 23rd! Anytime during it!
Where: Wherever your character is—setting liable to spontaneously change. BU
Summary: Well, now that Elicia unintentionally has a special gift for gab, it's going to be directed right at the residents of Luceti. Those going about their days are about to go on some wonderful adventures! ...Whether they like it or not.
Rating: No situations that would warrant a high rating, though some of our guests might change it to a PG!
Note! Style can be comment-spam! I know how busy the end of the year is, for prose. ;)
[Elicia sits down with her journal, after a semi-tiring day of getting herself back into the motions of normal life. Of course, when you've been without creativity for a solid week and a half, you tend to want to explore the realms of fantasy for a while. Pressing a pen to a page, she begins to write crudely, slowly, a sentence for every few lines; it's all written to herself.
Supposedly.
Because some people are about to get a strange voice speaking to them.
But before that, she murmurs quietly to herself:]
Once upon a time...
[OOC: IMPORTANT STUFF TO KNOW: Post your character doing whatever they're doing in the day. Are they tucked away in their room? Outside enjoying the winter weather? Etc? Comment-spam what they're doing! IF YOU'RE IN A GROUP, the person listed BEFORE the "—" on the list (aka the first name in the group |D) posts their thread. The others in the group will need to wait until they're introduced by Elicia's silly narrative, which won't take too long. :)'
So Winry would post a thread in her group, and the others would keep their eye on that thread.
Tracking your thread would be a good idea! If you can't do that (say, because you lack a paid), then inform me via AIM or PM and I can ping you when it's your character's turn.
Posting order is however the order goes unless noted in the subject line for whatever reason! 8D]

But.
She's a reader.]
Right. It's a bunch of candy in a magical forest in a story bein' narrated by a child. What could possibly go wrong?
[Hint: put the candy down, bro.]

[Ten at a time sounds about right.]

[But that chocolate over there growing on the wall looks dark and So. Delicious.]
And you! [Whirling on the talking skeleton now. Ugh, how's that for an appetite suppressant.] How are you even doing that?
no subject
[Moving on to some lemon drops now. Oh, there's no way he can possibly eat all of this... good thing he has pockets to stuff.]
no subject
But that doesn't make any sense! Do you still have a stomach?
[Yeeeah, Kurt is pretty much slowing to a stop at this point. They may never get out of this cave. wtg Elicia.]
no subject
Oh it smells so good.
And she is hungry, maybe one piece wouldn't hurt...
Rogue reaches out and takes one from the wall and - fails to actually put it in her mouth.]
Do you have any idea how gross you two are? Chew with your mouths closed, gawd.
[Turning around and storming off - and popping that piece of candy in her mouth as she goes. You are following along, right?]
no subject
[He's not so much chewing as he is inhaling. But yes - following along and such. There's more candy in the direction you're going, after all.]

But Rogue has urges that she can't give into every day, and every minute of every day. She can't touch. She can't smile. She can't let herself get close to people.
So she knows that if she wants something this badly - it's bad for her. Anything she wants this badly is something that she shouldn't have.
And she knows that she should probably stop Kurt from gorging on this candy, and they need to keep moving, but right now Rogue is just going to stop short and put her hand to her forehead and try to will herself not to give in -
Because, what's the harm, it's all just a dream, they're stuck in a cave of candy for crying out loud and why not reach out and take it and it was oh-so-good--]

Brook, or perhaps your hair is changing to fine licorice...Beware—if you keep grubbing on the desirable snacks, you may end up as candy yourself...!]
The magic of the cave was making them eat, even though they really didn't want to—but if they kept eating, they'd turn into candy themselves from the cursed yummy food.
Only the magic witch powers of Rouge was keeping her from giving in already, but it looked like she was having a hard time resisting, too...!!

Eep.
no subject
Oh man, I think I'm already turning into candy. Not cool, Elicia!
no subject
[Deep breath. All right, Rogue, pull it together. Are you really going to let a candy craving get you down, after everything else?]
Right. Kurt, can you BAMF us further on, or do we make a run for it?

~The Magical City~

I don't know... but I've got to try. It's the only way!
[He suddenly and abruptly links hands with Rogue and Brook and... BAMF! The three of them appear in from the Magical City.]
no subject
Oh, great job, Kurt! We're in the magical city.
[...if her tone was any flatter, you could use it as a level.]
no subject
Yohohoho! I knew that you could do it, Burt-san! [...Or is it Kurt? Well, it's one or the other.]
no subject
[gtfo out of this crazy story]get what they wanted from the powerful wizard! The only thing to do was to ask the guards to let them in!![Yeah, those tall red-coated guards, there, with the bayonets.]
no subject
[As he hears about and sees the guards, he turns to Rogue and Brook with a mischievous grin.]
So what do you say we ask them the old fashioned way? [He puts his hand into a fist and smack it against his palm. He wouldn't normally suggest this, but heck, they're in some kind of dream. Why not?]
no subject
Yes, let's go up to the guards with the guns and punch them in the face to make new friends.
[You're going to spoil the story, bro. Rogue does not approve.]
no subject
If the point is to make friends with them, perhaps we should invite them to tea inside of the city!
no subject
"Who goes there?"
Says one of the two guard people!
no subject
no subject
...well, for the sake of the story:]
We're travelers, hoping to come to the Magical City.
[...like hell she's adding 'for friends' on her own.]
