Love of mine / Some day you will die

Who: [Bad username or site: flared title= @ livejournal.com], [Bad username or site: perplex_me title= @ livejournal.com], and [Bad username or site: poppetry title= @ livejournal.com].
What: A talk, that may or may not end in tears.
When: Evening of this same day.
Where: House 19.
Summary: Vanitas dropped a bombshell on Xion and Axel in the wake of his vicious attack. Suitably rattled, the two confront Roxas about the truth of what really happened.
Rating: PG-13 for at least language.
Why don't you ask him yourself?

The question, obvious taunt though it was, had hung heavy over Xion's head since she'd heard the words. She trusted Roxas completely -- with her life, with everything -- she'd never doubt him!

... but why would Vanitas say that? Surely he was just trying to rattle them. Right? It had to be that. Just to drive the thorn in deeper after he already nearly killed Axel, invaded their home and destroyed any illusion they had of safety and security...

No. She had to find out the truth. Just what had Vanitas meant by that?

It was with this single-minded determination to know what was really going on that she brought the three of them together later that night, in the house. She trusted Roxas.... she did, right? This was just to confirm Vanitas was lying.

"Roxas ... there's something I--" She glanced at Axel, nervously, then back at Roxas. "... that I want to know. Vanitas said something..." There she trailed off again, and looked back at Axel for support. This can't be right. This can't be real.

(ooc; comment spam style despite my rambletastic lead in! Xion > Axel > Roxas.)
flaring: (it's all fake.)

[Axel's eyes narrow a little. That reaction from Roxas seems to just confirm his suspicions.]

Yeah, Roxas, was he?

...I didn't tell him to attack you. [Not in so many words, anyway.] He took it out of hand.
