What: ~~Broship~~; just Naoki and Ted, c’mon. Hanging out…kinda.
When: Friday.
Where: Community Building 7, Floor 5, Room 21.
Summary: So Nami and Usopp have gone home. Naoki isn’t exactly in the best of moods. Solution: run to Ted, of course.
Rating: Idek. Nothing over PG. Barely over G? ...but here's a warning for SAP. So. Much. Sap.

[Gone. Naoki couldn’t believe it. He didn’t even want to believe it. It was easier to deny that they weren’t gone, not both of them within a few days. It wasn’t fair.

And he knew he was being a brat about it. A selfish one. Because he didn’t want them to go where he couldn’t see them anymore. He wanted them h—no. It was a thought that he couldn’t help but be angry at himself for. It was the thought that had drove him outside into the cold wind and snow, hands buried in his pockets and eyes fixed on the ground.

He wasn’t sure where to go. He’d left a note for Isamu and Richard and would likely contact them over the journals later but for now, he just—

Naoki stops, looks up. Community building 7…huh? He hadn’t even noticed his feet leading him here. But without preamble he was entering and scaling the steps. He had almost expected his body to take him here. There was just something…heh. He wanted to see Ted, he guessed. Somehow he was comforted around him. Soon enough he’d reach the door to his apartment and if his knock received no answer…he would sit on the floor next to it.

[...Grin.] Sure. We might need some paper or something once we get back. Who knows how long it'll get.

Then let's head to the shop instead! I'm sure Usopp wouldn't mind if we take a few along with us.

[Naoki grins in amusement, switches the direction he's walking.] Hmm, let's.

[Following still~] I wonder if we'll end up working on this well into the night. That would be a lot of stuff to cover.

We might, just going off the couple of similarities we know.

We could always make two lists. One for differences and one for similarities, and see which one would be longer.

There's a plan! [Naoki brings his fist down in his palm.] Works for me.

[He ponders for a moment then---] You should probably inform those two. They might wonder when you'd head back.

[Naoki blinks and then nods.] Ah, yeah, I should. [Digging for his journal...]

[He watches him for a moment, making sure that he gives the message before they continue on.]

[Once the message is given, Naoki tucks away his journal once more, resuming walking.]

Done? [He resumes walking as soon as Naoki does, mindful of the cold. They should be near the store soon, at least.]

Yup, all set! [Naoki gives a thumbs-up as they approach the store.]

Great! [Once they get there, Ted heads quickly for the shelves, searching for paper.]

[Naoki wanders off to do some searching of his own, humming idly as he does.]

[Searching... searching... SUCCESS!] Aha! Here we go!

Found some? [Naoki calls over from where he's rummaging through shelves, distracted by ~~shiny things~~ some of the interesting items there.]

Yeah. Is this enough? [Showing you a bunch of it now, Naoki.]

I think that'll do it...unless the list ends up getting freakishly long.

We probably won't get it that long, unless we name things individually.

--heh, yeah. Take forever, if we did that.

You'd stay at my place for weeks, and people will have to dig us out from under a pile of paper just to show we're still around.

[Naoki snorts and laughs at the mental image.] No stopping it until it's finished, though, of course.

Of course. [A pause, before he waves a hand to the door.] Shall we, or are you still planning on getting something else?

Nope, I'm all set. Let's go. [Grinning, he turns to lead the way.]
