Who: [livejournal.com profile] raizanshou, [livejournal.com profile] count_gardios, and [livejournal.com profile] forsurvival
What: Guy and Dist have finished the project Asbel gave them. Dist is off elsewhere now.
When: Backdated to February 25th, afternoon
Where: House 28
Summary: Guy shows off the work he and Dist completed for Asbel. SPOILERS follow.
Rating: PG? Can't imagine it getting too bad...
[It was the fourth day. The fourth day since Asbel had asked Dist and Guy to fix Lambda. Luckily, it seems it was a success, as earlier that day, Guy contacted Asbel, telling him their work was complete. And not a moment too soon. Tomorrow was the scheduled date for the draft...

At the time, Asbel was in the barracks, training, in order to stay out of the way of the tech experts. But the moment he heard they were done, he cut his training short, quickly rushing back to the house.

Upon arriving at the house, he opens the door and enters.

Guy! Are you still here?

[Guy is, in fact, still very much there. Dist had taken his findings and zoomed off even quicker than he had if he'd had his fontech armchair, but Guy wanted to stick around just in case something additional needed tweaking once Lambda was woken. Or...booted up, or powered up or whatever it was called.

Very strange. Maybe no stranger than he being fontech, but that had been very damn weird if also extremely cool.]

Yup, I'm still here. Waiting for you to get here before trying to wake him up.

[identity profile] count-gardios.livejournal.com 2011-03-01 09:02 am (UTC)(link)
Ah...he's gone. [How to explain this without selling Dist out as a flake?]

He wanted to review the information somewhere quiet, so that if Lambda turned out to have any malfunctions he'd be able to attend to it with a clear mind. [Or something like that. MOVING ON, Guy lifts Lambda into a sitting position and rests him against his arm, hand hovering over the manual switch to boot him back up.]

Ready?

meowzy next?

[identity profile] count-gardios.livejournal.com 2011-03-02 05:57 am (UTC)(link)
[Well, he's definitely that.

Guy nods and reactivates Lambda, propping him back up against the pillows and standing back with his hands on his hips.]

[identity profile] forsurvival.livejournal.com 2011-03-02 06:14 am (UTC)(link)
[As soon as the body's been reactivated, it stirs before its eyes open, staring ahead blankly. Its back straightens and its head raises upwards, but other than that, not much happens. It's still as lifeless as before, because another element is needed. This element has been hiding away inside Asbel for the past weeks.

Lambda isn't too keen on exposing himself in front of Guy, but what choice does he have? He can't stay inside Asbel forever. As comfortable as it is, it's far too restricting. He can't really control the body and people have been doubting his integrity.

One can only hope Asbel was expecting a sudden headache, because that's exactly what will strike him when Lambda leaves him to move into plain sight. An entity seemingly consisting of dark energy, he's had time to recuperate since his kidnapping and his aura's grown stronger again. Darkness spreads all around him in waves, before disappearing like mist. He doesn't stay out in the open for long though, so whatever Guy thinks he may be seeing, it won't be there for more than ten seconds. The darkness envelopes the Humanoid body and soon after, even the core of Lambda's being disappears inside it.]

[Yeah and neither was Guy. Asbel collapses in a rather familiar gesture and when Guy automatically starts to circle the bed to help him he stops because SOMETHING JUST FREAKING CAME OUT OF HIM AND WENT INTO THE ROBOT KID.

...........what the hell is this, guys.]

Uh.

... [Okay, going to Asbel now and setting a hand on his back.] Hey, are you all right?

[identity profile] forsurvival.livejournal.com 2011-03-03 03:34 pm (UTC)(link)
[Lambda blinks a few times, seemingly unaware that someone just collapsed right in front of him. He raises a hand and flexes it before his eyes, then clenches it again. There doesn't seem to be any problem there. In fact, from what he can tell, all the damage dealt to his vessel has been repaired without fault. His gaze sweeps the room, before coming to rest on the two men.]

... Asbel. [It's the child's voice. He doesn't want to scare Guy (even more) by using his real tone.]

[identity profile] count-gardios.livejournal.com 2011-03-04 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
[...........yeah okay.

Guy smiles easily and straightens, raising his hands and backing up a couple feet.]

I'm going to save you both the explanation and just tell you that I don't need to know whatever happened just now. I'm not even sure I'd understand it anyway, so it's fine.

[identity profile] forsurvival.livejournal.com 2011-03-04 10:04 am (UTC)(link)
[Lambda moves himself off the bed in an attempt to stand up straight. He staggers for a few seconds before regaining his balance. Looks like there aren't too many problems there, either. As much as he hadn't expected it, those two technologists did a very good job.]

...

i apologize for that grammatical mess of a comment above.

[identity profile] count-gardios.livejournal.com 2011-03-05 02:23 am (UTC)(link)
[Guy nods and turns to Lambda, watching him- it- him? Let's go with him.

Watching him move and take account of his limbs and other important internal bits.]

Everything working all right? Do I need to tweak anything?

What grammatical mess? =B

[identity profile] forsurvival.livejournal.com 2011-03-05 11:24 am (UTC)(link)
[Lambda stretches his arms out in front of him, then tries taking a few steps forward.]

Everything appears to be functioning correctly.

[identity profile] count-gardios.livejournal.com 2011-03-06 07:59 pm (UTC)(link)
I didn't end up taking any notes. Dist would have all of that information.

[Guy shrugs and smiles easily, hands on his hips.]

I'm more interested in the hands-on aspect than concept and design. I was going to look at Dist's notes later, but I could be too busy to do so.

[So basically, he doesn't have to remember anything about Lambda's design if neither Lambda nor Asbel want him too.]

[identity profile] forsurvival.livejournal.com 2011-03-06 08:42 pm (UTC)(link)
[Hands-on aspect? Lambda isn't even certain what that means. Or what Guy hoped to accomplish by it. He doesn't like scientists- and for good reason, too. Who's to say this man isn't any different?]

What will you do with the information?

[identity profile] count-gardios.livejournal.com 2011-03-08 03:51 am (UTC)(link)
What would I do with it? ...have it, I guess.

[Guy folds his arms, a little concerned.] I'm all right with not having it, but Dist has probably already memorized everything. You might want to speak to him directly if you'd rather keep any of your specs under wraps.

You may want to be careful, too. I don't think he'll try anything, but...well. I don't claim to know him very well either.

[identity profile] forsurvival.livejournal.com 2011-03-08 09:51 pm (UTC)(link)
[Lambda's expression darkens at that. So this Dist person isn't entirely trustworthy... He'll have to keep an eye on that man.]

I see. Let us try to make certain there is no need for more repairs in the future.

[identity profile] count-gardios.livejournal.com 2011-03-11 07:00 am (UTC)(link)
Then I wish you both the best of luck.

[Guy retrieves and slings the bag he uses to carry his tools over his shoulder, and offers them both a little bow.]

Let me know if you run into any problems. I'll do my best to help.

[identity profile] forsurvival.livejournal.com 2011-03-13 02:37 pm (UTC)(link)
I will bear that in mind.

[Showing gratitude is a concept that's pretty foreign to Lambda and he doesn't realize that the absence of it might actually be offensive to Guy. Just the fact that he isn't refusing further contact with the man is already a positive response, in his opinion.]
