[Oh, Thursday agrees with you on more levels than she can count on her hooves. The sudden BAMFing-in startled her doe-like reflexes into propelling her up into a stable standing position, keen, alert, ready to dart away... And then.. now.. she's frozen there with an alarmed expression.]

[It's like walking on stilts, which she could probably manage on any normal day but right now it's four stilts instead of two - so still really weird. Thursday tries to lift her right front leg, stiff and uneasy, and of course she loses her balance. That leg slides forward and away from her, the right one slips and follows, and pretty soon it's like she's bowing for Rogue, though he head is up in alarm rather than tucked down in reverence.]

[Rogue moves into a crouch just because it's easier to stand that way.]

[Legs are shivering but steady. All of them. The muscles in her flank are starting to ache because she's probably not supposed to be staying in one position for this long at a time. Still, she feels safer now and it shows in the relaxing of some of the muscles in her neck. Her head lowers a little, then raises. Then it lowers again, and raises. She's nodding in reply to Rogue's question but it might well not be read that way. It's a subtle enough gesture. She's afraid to make sudden movements lest she tip herself over.

So this girl is a demon. Right? Spade tail, blue skin, fuzz, teleportation... but then, Thursday had heard tell of a young man by this description in Luceti. Kurt. And if the Shift could make her a fawn, it should definately be able to change Kurt's gender.]

[Feeling adventurous, Thursday makes the attempt to follow through on her step forward. One back leg.. two legs.. And she's standing up again! Wobbly, but standing! Albeit her flank is up in the air on account of her keeping her back legs far too straight. She gives a happy chirrling sort of sound. If that little victory is anything to go by then she should be fine.

As long as no lions happen on by. Or .. really any predators at all.]

[Awh hell. What she was doing just then? She thought that was walking. If ever a doe looked disappointed then Thursdoe does right now.

She knows what she must look like though. She has a dim recollection of seeing a fawn on the television. This recollection seems to bolster her; eager to prove herself she takes another step forward - and promptly, gently, falls onto her side with a startled churrl.]

Yeah, that's no good. [Rogue approaches in the half-walk, half-crouch typical of someone with 'five hands.' instead of two hands and two feet.]

I can take ya to someone who might be able ta help ya, if you want.

[After all, Beast Boy can speak to animals. And show her how to be... more of a fawn. Even if his version would be green.]

[She's all kinds of keen on this idea - she leans forward in an attempt to prove it and even attempts another nod. This one is more pronounced, much more nod-like. She has no further to fall this time around.]

[As it so happens there's a certain changeling flipping through his journal in that very room, his feet propped up on the kitchen table as he laughs at the results of the latest experiment. Then there's a sudden, familiar BAMF, causing him to throw the book down and cover his nose while glaring at the newly-formed puff of smoke.]

Dude, Kurt! You're gonna make all the food taste like rotten eggs - and I don't even know what that taste is!

[Thursday's appearance is actually remarkably dignified. Since she has some experience with teleportation - both through time and space - the disorientation that ought to accompany being thrust into a location with unfamiliar dimensions has little to no effect on her. On the other hand the experience is somehow altogether different, and her body is not her own. It is a mercy, then, that she's already laying down. She materializes with the doe eyed expression that her species is known for and looks around curiously.]
