[Sigh. Siiiigh.

Here Luke had been hoping that he'd get off scott free this week. Most of his friends had been affected while he hadn't, anyway...

He probably shouldn't have hoped too much. Not if it meant waking up on a pillow and finding himself to be an inch and a half tall with a weird yellow/orange glow around him. (Thankfully, his pajamas had shrunk with him too. No doubt he has absolutely no clothes this size.)

After having a fit about this new form (and finding that he could jump rather high like this... once he leapt off the couch and crashed to the floor anyway), Luke heads to the clothing store while holding a leaf like an umbrella to protect him from the heat of the sun. It'd probably be easier and faster for a poncle like him to hop, but he's not exactly used to that, nor does he want another embarrassing moment of leaping way too far.

So, he just walks. Grumpily. And he's not really getting to his destination very fast.]

[Just as Miyabi woke from a nice little nap under a tree - stretching and yawning openly - she sees a small ball of orange light walking by, holding a leaf. A rather familiar ball of light walking by, holding a leaf.

That is most definitely a poncle.

...Luke, you are an idiot and Miyabi's amazed you haven't been trampled, let alone eaten, by now. She does, however mistake the orange glow for someone else entirely, so have a fox trotting your way, tail wagging excitedly. Please...please let it be Ishaku!]

[Dem Fabre genes, man.

He feels Miyabi coming more than hears or sees it, so he pauses, lifts the leaf a little to turn and see who-]

[OH GOD GIANT FOX THING

Luke immediately drops the leaf and leaps back - waaay too far, and since he's not used to flying in the air like this, he ends up flailing slightly before he lands and rolls to a halt.

[Aaaaahahaa, Luke, you failure. Miyabi pauses and...yeah, that's definitely not Ishaku. She can't help the disappointment, but she does lower her head to try and see who it was within that light. Nggh, her eyes were a lot better when she was normal, but another sense was definitely more prominent like this.

Sniff, sniff. ...It couldn't be. It just. Could not. The hilarity was too damn good.]

L-Luke? Is that you in there?

[Dammit, the fox is getting closer... And his sword didn't shrink with him, either. Luke really has no choice but to run/hop and hide, and he's just about to do that when-

The fox speaks, and that voice... He freezes, then looks back up at her again.]

... Miyabi?

[Why is everyone becoming so tiny during this experiment? It was bad enough Nephry was being terrorized by every bird in the enclosure, but now Luke would have to deal with it, too?]

[At least, that's the impression Ion got from the small flock of birds that were hungrily eying Luke from a nearby perch. The small flock that he doesn't seem to see because of that leaf he's carrying.]

[He doesn't want to hurt any of the birds, but eating his friend is so not cool. In the corner of his eye, Luke might see a few sparks appearing around them, scaring them up into the sky.]

[And on the other side of him is an Ionchu. With this face. Bro, what are you doing outside when you are so tiny?]

[Luke has not realized that he's pretty much become prey for a large number of animals right now. He just glares sullenly at the ground while the birds eye him, and he only lifts his head when he notices the flash of sparks. Once he looks for the cause of it, he sees the birds flying away... and Ionchu.

He still doesn't really know what exactly happened, considering he's not even thinking of what him being this small means, so he scowls and glances away, more embarrassed about Ion seeing him like this than anything.]

Hey Ion. [Who knows if he can be heard this far away with his vocal range being shrunk, too.]

[Luke, Ion has spent the past few days as a giant electric mouse that keeps shocking itself and can't talk. Being smaller than usual is far from embarrassing.]

[...but being smaller than usual and stuck in your pajamas? Okay, that's a little embarrassing. And he's lucky Pikachu's have such good hearing, or that greeting might have gone unheard.]

Chuu... [That's how he says Luke's name, by the way. And yes, he knows Luke can't understand but he's asking anyway:] Pikaachu?

[What's this? Something small and moving? CLEARLY, IT MUST BE EDIBLE. Which is why a fat pink Luma is gonna be floating toward him.]

If Luke had been his normal size the Luma would look too cute to do anything harmful, but right now it's HUGE compared to him, so he flips the leaf in his hands so that he's holding the stem like it's some kind of spear.]

Luke pauses in his steps to frown and stare down at the ground - just as a shadow comes over him.

He turns to see what it is-]

GAH!

[And he LEAPS OUT OF THE WAY just before the foot can squish him. Luke is no expert at leaping so far, though, so he lands on his side and slides to halt, and though that kind of hurt, he still pushes himself up to shout after her as loud as he can.]

But then it swooped down right by him, making Luke stumble back and hold the stem of the leaf like it's a weapon or something. As if he could do anything with that.]
