Climbin' in your windows, snatchin' your people up

Summary: Raven climbed through the window of the wrong house :|
Rating: I seriously doubt this would be above just some mild language.

[It had been 3 weeks since Raven had last stepped foot in the village. He was tired and annoyed at the Malnosso, he just wanted to go home and curl up in bed for a few days, forgetting everything that had happened.

So that's exactly what he was trying to do at three in the morning. He approached what he believed to be house 12 and started trying to pry the window open. Going through the front door is just going to end up with the bombarding questions of "Where have you been, Old Man?" and he was far from in the mood to answer. After a little struggle and a few clicks, the window opened letting him climb inside.]

Huh? I don't remember havin' carpet in my room...

[They hadn't given up on him and redecorated his room already, had they? So not feeling the love guys. It wasn't just the carpet that was strange, the whole room felt different, but it was hard to make sense of it with such little light. Walking over to the door he looked for the light switch, turning it on.]

March comes after February, right? The month with the weird endin' on the twenty-eighth? [Thinking quite hard here.]

Eighteen days... huh, not as long as I thought. Geez, I was worried it was a year or somethin'!

[herotypical]

[ and now buffy is going to make a comprehension mistake that may save your butt forever, raven. ]

Oh. Kidnapped...and they dumped you back in my room? Scoundrels. I bet they're out there laughing.

[The little Raven inside his head did the happiest dance ever, yes, that is the best excuse for how he ended up in her room. Let's go with that.]

Maybe they wanted me ta make ya some crepes? Who knows what those terrible, terrible Malnosso were thinkin'! Darn them, darn them all!

[herotypical]

...Okay, that doesn't exactly sound horrible. But it's a little late. Or early. One of the two.

[ she may only have been awake for a few minutes, but the snark is back in full force and only edged with a more genuine concern: ] That's a while to be gone, though -- are you feeling okay?

[crisisrain]

Awww, how sweet of ya ta care! I'm fine, I don't feel weird at all fer a change! Just sleepy and confused, like anyone else would be. [Though, he is making a mental note that this is weird, most people come back injured or sick.]

I'll just have ta make ya delicious things when it's not three in the mornin'.

[herotypical]

[ as the shock and horror of earlier subsides, she softens. ] Of course I care. Besides, there's a doctor a few rooms over and if you were broken or something I'd be obligated to go wake him up. And then I'd have to explain to him why anyone was in my room and he...well, trouble would ensue.

[crisisrain]

If I was broken? Ya make it sound like I'm a tool or a puppet. [Not that it's far from the truth. He just likes to think otherwise nowadays.] Really, there's nothin' wrong with me! This isn't the easiest situation to explain as it is, ya can tell him after I've run very far away.

[herotypical]

[ gently: ] I didn't mean it like that.

[crisisrain]

Stop worryin' so much, it doesn't suit a lovely lady like yerself. [He passes her a 'it's not a big deal' wink and starts to move towards the window.]

[herotypical]

Fine. But if I'm not worrying, I'm demanding. And you and me are going to have a crepe-a-thon the moment you're re-settled.

[crisisrain]

[He suddenly gets a mental image of Fat!Buffy stuffing her face with crepes, and he seems slightly disturbed by it.]

I think I'd be fine with demanding, just don't overeat the crepes. They're not very healthy.

[herotypical]

You totally under-estimate a slayer's metabolism.

[crisisrain]

Maybe, but I just don't wanna be the one who has ta roll you outta the room when ya stuff yerself silly.

[herotypical]

...You sure you wanna poke this slumbering lion of body issues, Raven? 'Cause I can go get the dagger again.

I'll just go grab yer underwear again then.

[herotypical]

I'm fairly certain that in the grand scheme of things, dagger trumps lacy underthings; however, you're welcome to try.

[ except for the part where he isn't, really. ] You, uhm...you can leave by the front door, you know. Or -- maybe want a drink of water or something before you ski-daddle? We have apple juice, too.

I wouldn't be surprised if my scream when ya pounced on me woke one yer housemates up. Not that I intended to, but when a lady jumps on you in her bedroom it is a little alarmin'.

[He thinks for a second, she has a point.] Goin' on the front door isn't a bad idea though...

[herotypical]

Don't worry -- Doctor McCoy is very merciful with the strangers he finds lurking in my bedroom. It's all over very fast.

[ and now that the groove of careful trolling and strange friendship is re-found, buffy spares no playful expense. ]

[That... does not fill the old man with confidence.]

Can't ya just kill me now and get it over with?

How about I at least get something into you before I send you on your way and we can skip the killing part?

[It is SO hard not to reply with "He'd rather put something in you."]

Alright, I wouldn't mind a drink. If ya've got any whiskey or rum, that'd hit the spot. I could do it with it.

[herotypical]

How about bourbon? That's a kind of...one of those things. [ buffy summers, just about the failest barmaid you can find. ] Bones has some stashed somewhere.

As long as it's not sweet, then I guess it'd do? Ya wanna lead the way to the kitchen?

[Though this house did look freakishly familiar, he could probably find your kitchen quite easily. Also, shall we go jump onto Scotty's thread below? Since he's in the kitchen?]
