What: A routine physical. If your typical patient is a giant talking turtle.
When: Backdated to Saturday the 14th.
Where: The Battle Dome clinic.
Summary: Don goes to a real doctor for the first time ever, Leo provides moral support, and McCoy has a normal day at the office.
Rating: G, probably.
They're not expecting him. He doesn't have to be there at any particular time. If he changes his mind, he doesn't have to go at all.
So Donatello walks slowly from House 55 to the Battle Dome. He loiters in the lobby, peeking through windows to see who's using the rooms. He generally drags his feet as much as possible, until he senses that Leonardo is running out of patience with his ambivalence. He takes a deep breath, and asks himself if he really wants to do this.
He finds that he does.
He climbs the stairs with a renewed sense of purpose and enters the clinic, looking around, absorbing everything. He's never done anything like this before, and it's not immediately obvious how he's expected to announce himself. Should he go through the inner door, that presumably leads to the examining rooms? Should he sit here and wait to be noticed? Is he supposed to put his name on a list?
He looks anxiously at Leo, because looking anxiously at Leo is what he usually does when he needs strategic direction. Help him, Fearless Leader.
((Don -> Leo -> McCoy?))

Works for me. xD
He moves around the lobby, seeing if there's anything there telling them what to do. He looks at Don at the anxious look, which only strengthens his own resolve.
"We should let them know we're here." He wonders just how often this place is actually used.
fashionably late! sorry guys
"Thought I heard someone sneaking around out here."
Fff, doctors. Always running late.
"We - I want to see a doctor!"
(Nope. Nothing like normal.)
Fff, you'd think in a place that's hardly used, they'd be on time! XD
"Does he need to sign in or anything?" Leo's just here for support, really. Don't mind the dumb questions Leonard, they've never been inside a real clinic, much less to see a doctor.
NEVER
"Not in my infirmary. Let me get rid of this first--" He nods his head at the disinfectant mop in one hand and waves his hand at a couple of chairs, "-- then we can start."
He's a doctor AND a janitor, it slows him down
Good point!
he longs for the day the janitor from scrubs arrives
He's actually a little bemused that two humanoid turtles want a check-up, but McCoy guesses he'll probably enjoy finding out the biological make-up of a homo lacertae. It isn't like Starfleet medical has an abundance of files for him to research on back home. This is going to be a learning corner for him and he doesn't leave the brothers for long.
Katt, forget Data, app that janitor
Why don't you app him? Lol
He waits too, watching McCoy.
Data ♥
"I'm going to take some superficial scans." He explains to the brothers after coming to a decision. "And when that's done, I'll tell you the readings I get. How does that sound?"
Yes Data /dodges the question >.>
"And, ah - just me." Leo's only here to do the protective-older-brother thing.
Data is awesome. :D ♥
