Summary: It's time for the bi-monthly New Feather Party! This time at the Battle Dome with a concert by the one and only Luka Megurine! Take a seat and watch the show or grab a bite and mingle with your friends. Luceti's gonna be noisy tonight and full of good cheer!

Everything was all set to go! The Battle Dome had been turned into the perfect concert hall thanks to the hardwork of everyone who had voluntered to help out. The decorations went up without a tee and the tables were well-laden with the food that everybody had so graciously offered to make. Selphie had taken it upon herself to abuse the vending machines in the Dome and had carefully lined the sides of all the tables with various types of drinks for everyone to choose from. The perky brunette knew that this was going to be one of the best New Feather parties they'd ever held. The crepe paper streamers brought quite a bit of colour to the otherwise metallic surroundings of the dome and it left her debating if they should leave them up. She quickly thought against the idea knowing that there were bound to be complaints about the Battle Dome being a place for training and not a place to hold regular parties.

She sighed lightly before twirling around in her yellow sundress and marching right over to the entrance of the Battle Dome as she opened the doors for everyone to enter and take their seats. When people entered, they'd notice the stage in the middle of the Dome. Adell and his volunteers had worked tirelessly on it and with a splash of colour from the decorating team, the stage was perfect and ready to go. The lights were checked, the speakers were in place and the mic was positions just waiting for Luka to grab it and dazzle everyone with her talents. To say that Selphie was excited about this concert was a bit of an understatement. It reminded her of the Garden Festivals from home as she waited for people to start arriving.

She knew that this night was going to be great for everybody. She knew that everybody in the village needed a chance to unwind a bit and this was perfect opportunity to do so.

Volunteered to help set up the New Feather party? Come mingle with your fellow volunteers in here!

[Of course Rydia's there. Now that she has more available time, the summoner is eager to help set things up. She can mostly be seen at the refreshments area, adding more dishes and drinks and helping arrange things there, though can be easily drawn away from that if her help is needed somewhere else.

And throughout it all, Rydia is warm and friendly. She'll stop to chat with those she knows and as for those she doesn't--it doesn't matter. Parties are the perfect opportunity to meet people right?]

It was moments before the concert was to begin and the lights were slowly beginning to dim in anticipation for the event. The speakers lined the front of the stage in precision and a microphone streamed with ribbons was waiting for the star of the show to take the stage and wow Luceti with her talents. There was still some idle chatter going on but it would eventually die down once the star of the evening got going with her music.

The concert was in full swing and the music had the energy in the building at a maximum. Lights were swirling in bright colours to the beat of the music being offered and all eyes were on the stage for the most part.

[As promised, Cheria's present at the party as well. She brought a variety of dishes- so many that she had to make two return trips to carry all the plates to the Battle Dome. Sandwiches, cold cuts, cocktail wieners, a fruit salad, dumplings, crackers and an assortment of cheeses... She'd even baked cookies. To be fair, she was much more used to preparing actual dishes, but experimenting with finger foods had proved to be a lot of fun. She should do this more often.

Anyone can find her by the dinner table, setting things up with a satisfied smile.]

Now that the concert is over with, the chatter and noise in the Battle Dome start up with a new-found energy. Everybody`s starting to mingle once again but the main topic of the evening appears to be the concert that just finished.

[The party may have been set up so that everyone can meet new people, but Cheria's glad to see a familiar face all the same. She steps towards Rydia, her hands clasped together neatly and a somewhat relieved expression on her face.]

Miss Rydia. It's good to see you again.

[Selphie's busy bringing over armloads of various drinks for everyone to choose from when she sees Cheria arranging her goodies on the table for everybody to choose from. She grins broadly at the girl before she starts lining up the drinks she'd brought from the vending machines.]

It all looks so good!

[She recognizes Selphie from their conversation on the journals, of course. At the compliment, she feels a little more at ease. Appearances aren't a testament to the food's taste, but just knowing that it looks good is a relief. And she taste-tested it herself, just to be sure.]

You really think so? I had a hard time choosing what to make, so I tried a little bit of everything.

[Rydia perks up, flashing a bright smile at the girl.]

Likewise, Cheria? How have you been? Settling in alright, I hope?

Yes, I have. A lot of my friends from back home are in Luceti as well. I consider myself very lucky to see them again, even if it's under such circumstances.

[Kay is sitting on a bench outside the concert, head tipped back and one hand over her eyes. She likes music--loves it, if in a casual, this-is-nice-to-dance-to kind of way--but thirty seconds of the evening's performer, and she gave up. It sounds like nothing so much as a lot of noise to her, and a lot of loud noise, at that. Even from here, it's threatening to give her a headache.

The idea of a party was a fine one, and she dressed for a cocktail affair. At this point, she's mostly sticking around in hopes that the afterparty will be a little closer to what she'd had in mind when she arrived here.]

[She nods.]

I understand that very well. This place isn't exactly something I'd wish on anyone, but at the same time, the company of familiar faces helps a great deal.

[Nevermind Ling. He's here, but mostly just for the food. He's packing away quite a bit. He may or may not leave some for others. But don't count on it.]

I couldn't agree more. I don't know what I'd have done if my friends hadn't been here.

[As promised, Kouki's here and helping out with the decorations! He's making sure the decorations are up and looking good.

And making sure they don't fall, of course.

Even though his wings are now black, Kouki's still the friendly person people would know him as, for those who chat with him.]

Variety's always good in my opinion.

Yes, I thought so as well.

[She casts a quick glance at the snacks, then turns her gaze back to Selphie.] Would you like to try some?

[Selphie's wandering by with drinks in tow for everyone helping out when she taps Kouki on the shoulder and holds out a miscellaneous can for him to take.]

Thirsty?

[He looks over and smile.]

A little bit, yeah. [Accept the can and open it.] Things are going well so far?

Is that okay? [She's eying the goodies carefully. What does she want to try more of?]

Of course. I'd like your opinion, as well.

[Selphie grins.]

Things are looking great so far!

That's great! [He looks at the decorations so far.] It'll definitely be the best party, yet.

[ There's a girl with red hair packing away just as much food near him~ ]
