Zack stirs, calling out after a moment, his voice muffled.]

That again? [She'd thought after their first meeting that Zack might be a little homesick... he probably still was, considering he hadn't seen his parents in all that time. It was sad... something she wanted to fix.

But for now she just shook her head.] Ahh, Zack knocked himself silly again! So silly he didn't even go to the tent to get patched up, mmm. [Thank goodness Lightning had spotted him.]

[Her voice softens.] How are you feeling?

Huh? [Wha... oh, geez, he did it again, didn't he? Sitting up a little and rubbing at an eye, he shrugs sheepishly.] Aerith... I'm okay. What time is it?

[Just how long has he been asleep? ...Wait, did she sleep on the floor?]

You know? I don't know. Haven't checked yet. But I'd say... morning time! Not for much longer, though. [There is the window to check out, after all, which she does.] We'll have to get moving soon to not miss breakfast completely.

I should get up then. [With a little mental push, he forces himself fully upright, yawning and stretching- then wincing a bit, rubbing his back.]

Oh man, you'd think sleeping in a bed would be a blessing after spending days with tree roots for pillows.

Nope, but I'm glad nobody was around to see me flail at it like a housewife. And don't even get me started on the snakes. Heck, even the mosquitoes were huge! The jungle sucks.
