Summary: An outing to the beach!

While Ed is cooperating and the weather is pleasant a decision is made to go to the beach and have some fun! This will work similar to a mass action log, and y'all can create and reply to threads as you see fit.

Yeah, and I can't forget the rehabilitation, nerve re-connection, rusting, burning up in the heat, frostbite in winter, not being able to swim...

[He could make one hell of a list as to why automail is a pain in the ass. Though it's undeniable that sometimes it comes in handy; he's avoided a lot of injuries over the years thanks to those two metal limbs.]

I'm allowed to support you and still try to convince you to like automail, aren't I? Automail is a beautiful feat of engineering! You should admire it! Do you know most worlds don't even have the technology to support it? But I guess I shouldn't expect an alchemy geek like you to understand.

[Edward plops down on his own towel, grabbing a spare from one of the bags they'd brought along and starting the long process of drying out his automail. He'll be glad to say goodbye to this big hassle for sure. He does glance over at her, though; is it bothering her? It's hard to tell.]

[Yeah, that was totally believable. Edward responds with a skeptical look, then glances back at his leg, wiggling the towel edge into all the nooks and crannies of the automail. Maybe he should take off a few of the panels to check for sand.]

I just noticed... you don't really talk much about your problems, either.

[Losing focus of his own goals- maybe it's made him notice how others around him are affected, now? Or maybe he's just reading into things too much. He's really not used to this at all.]

My problems aren't really all that bad. They're nothing to worry about.

[It's said with at least half-sarcasm, but the other half is actual sincerity; he knows how lucky he is, whether it's in Amestris or here. Without Winry and Pinako, he'd still be helpless and stuck in a wheelchair, unable to even move himself around without Al's help. The automail has really made a difference in his life.]
