While Ed is cooperating and the weather is pleasant a decision is made to go to the beach and have some fun! This will work similar to a mass action log, and y'all can create and reply to threads as you see fit.

Whoa, whoa! It's like it goes on forever! That's awesome!

[Suffice to say that Edward is going to like the ocean.

Still lacking the ability to swim, though, what with about a third of his body currently being made of metal, his first act after the initial "ooooooh it's an ocean!" is to lay down a towel, stretch, and flop on it to relax, abandoning his usual full-body-covering clothes in favour of his tank top and a pair of beach trunks. Why did it take him so long to realize how good it felt to just sit around and chill? All that rushing around he used to do seems so pointless now.

So he may not be out and about or swimming, but at least he'll be easy to find? The sun's glare on his automail is a dead giveaway.

He'll also be keen to explore the place or fool around once he's properly motivated, so feel free to give him a nudge in the right direction.]

[Coming out of the water for a bit now- she takes note of where Ed's eyes have been during her splashing contest with Winry. It's actually a bit hard for her to miss all things considered. ...Or she's imagining it. Either way, she initially got annoyed, but then and idea struck her, and now that hse's back to shore she's going to turn it around.

It's so strange to think that we've been all over Amestris, but we've never seen the ocean before.

not being in the right sort of body to get wet, al just sits on the beach. while the swimmers are swimming, he'll be alternating through thumbing through the backlogs of the journals and just watching everyone splash around. ]

...Still not used to the whole armor thing. The Al she knew had a body, a face. And she's still unclear on all the circumstances. So now, later in the day after swimming is still appealing but she's ready for a break, on shore she's trying to sneak up behind Al]

[As they finish setting up the camp Haruhi catches Winry alone for one of the first times today. She nudges her in the side-]

[Bikini. Amestris girls look way hotter out in the ocean. That's what Ling happens to think as he stands on the shore, his feet bare in the sand, and watches the girls out there doing their thing. Kind of sucks to be the Elric brothers, though.]

[Haruhi has three objectives on this venture trip: to swim (1), to force Edward to hunt down trees on the mountainside and this create the boat (2), and possibly set up a bonfire for a roasting dinner on the beach that night (3). Any of these objectives would be time consuming, but after Winry setting up shop... well.

She'll be around, in either something akin to this, or with a T-shirt and wrap over that. Mostly focusing on the swimming during the daylight because that's what the beach is for you know]

[She might at some point notice Ling. He wasn't exactly... invited. Or if he was, he didn't come with the main group. He's just chilling in one of the few shaded spots, watching the fun for now. At the very least, he seems to be enjoying himself, if his grin is any indication.]

[And so following the first day on the beach the teenagers of the group decided they ought to remain out here and try their hand at camping. There was and is much shenanigans to produce the tents and fire and get the food and stories and other such things going.

[ TENT MAKING is important and Al will be making a tent. he's actually wondering if he could make a shelter out of sand for himself, since sand fleas don't bug a guy who has nothing or them to bite. ]

[Edward's made the boat by now, but since there's leftover wood and he doesn't have as much to do while other people are swimming, so he's hanging out inside the construct transmuting furniture for the interior. There's a series of lightning flashes from his transmutations appearing from above the boat.]

[After feeling a little more sane and knowing of Winry's trip, Sokka will be stopping by the beach to check on how they're all doing. Though he's primarily there to say hi to Winry, he'll talk to anyone that isn't Xingese. Because Xingese suck.]

The Magical Boat of Magical Awesome

[So after enough demands from a particularly demanding girl (AKA Haruhi) Edward is finally prodded into making good use of his alchemy skills. Several trees are felled from the mountain, converted into lumber, and then, after a great deal of blueprint-consulting and note-taking, as well as a series of complicated transmutations, at last, it's complete!

...To the extent that it'll probably sail without sinking, anyway. Hardly furnished and all. But yes, the beach now has a rather large boat on the edge of the shore, waiting to be used. And Edward is standing nearby, feeling rather accomplished and pondering the need for a dock.

Let us all now enjoy SAILING! Or just admiring the shiny new toy or something, that works too.]

[What is a trip to the beach without a picnic! Gracia's preparing a great spread on a large beach towel next to the lawn chairs Winry set up. There are sandwiches, potato salad, quishe, and pie. She has on a modest one piece, a light blue cover-up, and a large floppy hat.]

I wish I'd known about those teleporters before. They could have made the trip back to town a lot more.. convenient.

16th — being latest runs in the family

[For one thing—oh my gosh a beach! A beach! It's got lots of water and sand and sky and it's a beach! Clearly this means running up as close as she can to the edge of the sand, and then fleeing in terror when the next wave crashes in.

For another thing, it means sandcastles. Sandcastles are so cool, aren't they? And it needs a moat, a big cool moat! Once said mountain castle is done, she'll defend it from the evil water with her entire being. B|

Literally, she lays down in front of the castle and blocks dat water. DEDICATION!!!]
