Summary: Fangirling. That's all there is to it.
Rating: Rated G for Disney! At most it'll be PG, but I really doubt it.

[Minako will be standing idly at the doors of the library a little before than what was planned, but she waits for Ven to show up nevertheless. She was way early, and she knew that, but she couldn't help but feel excitable for the day. While waiting for him, she'll decide to hum a tune from her music player; which could be for the next half hour.]

[Luckily for Minako, Ven isn't the kinda guy to keep a girl waiting. Or anyone, really. So, soon enough, he'll be heading over to the library. And once he spots her, he'll give a little wave.]

Hey there!

Have you eaten lunch, yet? If you haven't, we could stop by some place to eat whenever we're done with the books.

Sounds good to me! I haven't eaten anything since I got up this morning.

[He looks a little sheepish when he says that, but hey. He didn't want to be late!]

Then we'll decide on that when we're done here, I suppose! Do you know if anyone takes care of the library? Or is it self serve like most of the other stores?

Well, I think there's at least someone in charge!

[If she wants, he'll hold the door for her. Ladies first, and all that. c: If not, he'll just follow her inside.]

At least, that's what the Guide said.

... I think I skimmed over that section. But that's a relief! Taking things from places or just being in them in general alone, always kind of worried me when no one's around, it makes me feel a little sketchy.

This place's a lot bigger than what I thought. Any idea where to start? The books I'm looking for are usually for kids, around the ages of four to ten...

We could always look for the fiction section! There's gotta be something there.

Hm? Oh...! You haven't been here before too? That'd probably be a good idea, then. It's... It's over here!

[He'll quickly follow close behind, glancing over the shelves as they get nearer.]

So, we're looking for pretty short books, right?

The books I'm looking for, somewhere under or over the title in smaller print, there should be something that says Walt Disney. They're generally short books, so... Have you ever heard of "The Little Mermaid," Ven-san?

Disney, Disney...

[Skimming the shelves. They look like they're organized by the author's last name...

And while he looks--]

I think Ingrid said something about it! I've never met any mermaids, though.

Mm? That's funny... Ah! You said you'd only visited nine worlds, right? Maybe the one Ariel is in isn't the one you've been in, then.

You've mentioned Cinderella before, I remember! The story you told me is actually pretty similar, except... You should see it for yourself. Without you, she probably would've never reached her happy ending in the same way if it weren't for her friends. I suppose... Doesn't that make you a hero?

You really think so?

[Man, now he's gotta check this out. He'll go ahead and take the book and start flipping through it.]

A hero... I never thought of it that way. [He was just trying to help a friend in need.]

Mhm! You're saving these princesses, whether you know it or not. Their friends always save the day, and in your case, you're the one that's saving the day. It's almost as if you're a knight!

Cinderella.. She would've been stuck forever, if it weren't for your help.

A knight, huh? [Man, now he feels kinda special. And he's helped three princesses, too!

And this book really is reaffirming what she said. All those other mice fixed up the dress just like he and Jaq did.]

Thanks, Minako, but I just did what I felt was right. ... But I guess that does make me kinda a hero. [He scratches his head, mulling this over a little.]

That's what most heroes do; they follow their heart. So what kind of titles do you have back in your world? I'll look for them!

Well, there was this book in Radiant Garden called Winnie the Pooh!

[It's the first thing that pops into his head, but he'll go ahead and mull over some other stuff.]

And there's "History of the Worlds," "Legends of the Keyblade War," stuff like that. Most of my books had to do with my training, though. But I did have some stuff about stars!

... Ah! That's one book we can agree on. Hm... I'll go look for those now! I wonder if that'd be in the fictional or historical section, though? Either way, they both sound interesting.

So you like stars? I have a basic knowledge of them, so I can't say I know much. ... But they are one of the reasons I really like Luceti! The skies here, they're really clear compared to back at home.

Well, we could always start here and move to the other sections later. Heck, if you wanted to take a break in a bit, we could go grab some lunch and come back.

[He shrugs; really, Ven's up to just about anything as long as it's fun.]

I really like looking at the stars, though. Back home, me and my friends would sit outside and just look up at the sky. Sometimes there'd even be meteor showers!

That sounds good about now, since I rushed out of my house myself. Are you craving anything in particular? It's been a while since I've had takoyaki; if you've ever heard of it before. If it doesn't sound appealing though, I'm not particularly picky too!

Then if we manage to burn enough time, she should definitely see them together! I'm from the main city back at home, so with light pollution it's sometimes really hard to see the stars. I probably haven't even seen half of the meteor showers you have; in fact... I can't even remember the last one I've seen.

Tomoyaki? I've never had it before, but I'm always up for new things!

[Especially if it's food from another world; just another thing he hasn't had too much exposure too.]

And is it really that bright? I can't even imagine what that's like... [Mainly because he's so used to a clear view of the sky.

But after a brief pause, he adds--]

Well, if you want, we could always drop by my place when it's dark out. I've got this huge telescope we could use to get a really good look a 'em. Or we could just hang out on the roof.

It's takoyaki! The things you say sometimes are pretty adorable, did you know that? Well, then! Let's see if we can find any place that has it here; it's been a while since I've eaten out. If all else fails, I guess there's always cooking at home next time.

I wouldn't mind! I told my brother I'd be out today, so I'm pretty much free for the whole day. It sounds like fun, since I've only ever used binoculars myself; and been to a planetarium only once or twice, so seeing the real thing would be a treat for once.

Adorable? [But he's a guy, are guys supposed to be...? Yeah, he looks a little flustered for a second. He's even scratching his cheek and might be a little pink from embarrassment.]

Um, well, we could always look around?

[Adorable... bluuuh. Well, he'll just focus on stars, because stars are awesome.]

Binoculars are handy and all, but there's nothing like a telescope. I could even bring it up to the roof. Maybe grab some blankets and snacks, too.

Cute as a button! I'm not a particularly picky person, so that works for me just as much as it does for you. ...but just a warning if we do find it! It's octopus fried with batter. ... That doesn't sound so good, does it? Well, you have to see for yourself!

That's fine by me, it sounds like a plan! Hopefully the weather stays as nice as it is for the entire day.

No, it's okay! I've never had octopus before, so I shouldn't judge it just yet.

[Gosh, more awkwardness on his end, though. She called him cute, too...? He's totally just gonna focus on the shelf right now. It's a nice distraction from the awkward!]

And if it gets too wet [or cold] we could always head back inside. My window's still a pretty good spot, but I like the roof better.
