(no subject)

Who: [livejournal.com profile] ch_rell47 and anyone!
What: The Shredder is out on a stroll through Luceti, feel free to stop and bug him.
When: July 31st, afternoon
Where: ….Around Luceti :D
Summary: Ch’rell decides a walk will help him meet his fellow inhabitants.
Rating: PG13 for violent Ch’rell thoughts (they are bound to happen)

It pained him of course, to be amongst the masses like he was. But after centuries of blending in with the humans, it was almost a second nature for him. He much preferred being in the upper society however, but there was no such thing here in Luceti, so he would have to do his best the way he was. Ch’rell walked down the street, wearing his old clothes that he was rather surprised to find in one of the shops. He is thankful though, he rather likes these clothes.

Ch’rell was... quite frankly, rather bored. Back on Earth he always had something that had to be done, someone to kill, or gangs to manipulate. To be suddenly without all of that was... rather disconcerting. There was literally nothing for him to do here, and, after long talks with Karai, he knew better than to attempt any escape (at the moment anyway). So all there was for him to do is to talk with the lowlifes who lived here, and wait for an opportunity to present itself.

He walked down the streets of the village and looked thoughtfully up at the buildings.

What he wouldn’t give to see the accursed things on fire.

Saleh, on the other hand, was thankful that there was "nothing to do" at the moment, after this latest experiment. He'd been busy fighting monsters and helping those who needed it, so he could use the break. He could really use a long vacation at this point.

He spotted Ch'rell and noticed the thoughtful expression as he stared up at the buildings. Saleh looked up himself, trying to see whatever it was that Ch'rell was seeing, but saw nothing.

"Are you looking for something?"

"Ah." Saleh didn't return the smile, because frankly, he just doesn't smile often.

"I have been here for over a year myself. Even in this length of time, this world never ceases to surprise me."

"I have been wishing the same myself, as my duty remains unfulfilled in my world."

Saleh paused briefly, pondering the situation back home once more, before returning his attention. "We should keep praying, but we should also brace ourselves for a long stay."

"Ah, your daughter..." He remembered Ch'rell was looking for her, and he had also heard the announcement that she had been murdered, although he couldn't comment on it. "I'm sorry that she was subjected to that murder. Although the dead return here, it does not make the grief easier to bear."

"What will you do when you find the culprit?" They could lock him up temporarily, or kill him temporarily, and Saleh was especially not fond of the latter option.

He looks away at the last question. "Yes...I have. Quite recently, in fact."

"That would be the most common thing. A few individuals have already been shunned from the population with their regular acts of violence."

However, Saleh goes a little further on the topic anyway. "It's all right. If nothing else, I've learned a valuable lesson, so I shall try to avoid this in the future."

"What it was like to die..." Saleh ponders for a moment. "It was like...I could feel the world fading away...or rather, I felt my own self fading away. The sheer pain from my wound remained, until it gradually faded as well. And then...nothing."

"I was so tired, so weak. It took me a few moments to remember what had happened. I was unaware of the time that had passed since my death. Although a week had passed, it felt like it had only been a moment or two."
