When: Well I'll be doing it during Masaomi's kidnapping time (The fifth) onwards, but basically any point in the last week or so and over the weekend
Where: In the detention center for kidnapped peoples.
Summary: Interacting in the same cell, in neighboring cells, etc. Feel free to be creative.
Rating: Probably high due to horrors

[She gets up and grabs the bars, trying to get a look at Buffy now.]

Do you know what would happen to me if I stopped being a death god?! Do you?!

I would die, Buffy Summers. I don't simply get to change job titles or take off the mantle for a little while. I would cease to exist! I thought this place was a punishment! I thought I was going to die here! I had to know!

[ destiny. duty. drive. she knows them all too well; still, it's never driven her to the depths of crazy she's witnessing from grell. at the back wall of her cell, buffy can just be seen. sitting with her knees drawn up to her chest. ]

A death god, dying? Or -- better yet -- a death god trying to cheat her own death. Wow. Let's just wallow in that hypocrisy here for a second.

[She lets out an exasperated sound mixed with disgust and pushes away from the bars, retreating back into her cell.]

Well pardon me. I think I'm allowed a bit of dramatics, all things considered.

[She grabs her pillow and throws herself back on her bed with a huff.]

[Grell huffs again and falls silent for a good while. It's almost as if she's gone to sleep when she suddenly speaks up again.]

...has he healed? Full recovery, I mean.

Archie, yes. Jack? No. He goaded me. If he didn't have such a habit of continuing to annoy me, I wouldn't let my baser nature come to light. He knows it's a sore spot and yet he continues to dig his dirty fingers into it.

I fear we are at an impasse. Neither of us can be very impartial when it comes to this. I have very little control when it comes to my emotions, you have very little control over the stupidity of the men in your life, and neither of us are willing to change.

[ ...that might actually be the truest thing that grell has ever said to buffy summers. and now there's one more man. vampire. angel. and buffy will not hesitate to involve the champion in this debacle should she need the back up. deals? bargains? she'll drop them in a heartbeat if she has to. ]

It shouldn't need saying but...if you touch him again? [ the threat goes unworded. ] I won't lose him again.

[ she figures grell couldn't have missed the announcement of jack's disappearance. ]
