All the Trauma
Who: Everyone is currently Mallynapped
What: Interacting between being experimented on (in the cells)
When: Well I'll be doing it during Masaomi's kidnapping time (The fifth) onwards, but basically any point in the last week or so and over the weekend
Where: In the detention center for kidnapped peoples.
Summary: Interacting in the same cell, in neighboring cells, etc. Feel free to be creative.
Rating: Probably high due to horrors
Dingy Cells. Experiments. Comrades in pain. Possibly shackles, possibly shenanigans, a lot of negative things. Feel free to interact for it!

[And he actually means this. All things considered, that week really wasn't too bad for him at all.]
Blood tests first. [Maybe it was customary for all subjects, but they were double-checking for blood toxicity. He knew it.] Then they upped my tolerance for pain, only to bring it way below normal. So, that's been fun. At least they haven't touched this yet.
[He indicates the arc reactor. It was only a matter of time.]

[ she peers at the something embedded in his chest -- she wants to ask about it; however, the walls have ears. she didn't dare get too nosy with who knows who listening in. ]

[Tony's more concerned about the Malnosso learning about the arc reactor than other captives, but he didn't know if they were listening even now. The less they knew about what not only kept him alive, but powered his suit as well, the better.]
What about you? Anything of note besides the knuckle busting?

Nothing too worthy of writing home about -- y'know, if we could. All's mostly quiet on the Buffy Summers front. Comparatively speaking.

[He gives her a hard look, trying to detect if this was really the truth. Believe it or not, if the Malnosso have been rough with her, he doesn't want her to bottle it up in front of him.]
Maybe they'll at least send you back with something useful. A second pair of arms. X-ray vision. You know. The good stuff.

Last time. Not last January but the January before that. [ but she heals fast; the only way she walked out of that one with a scar was because she was also deprived of her slayer abilities for five months. a reminder of being 'normal'. ]

I'm going to guess they didn't just give you scar, did they?

[ and the recovery was a horror. she had hated being put on bed-rest although she had well and truly needed it, cut off from her abilities. but doctor mccoy had taken good care of her. he always does. ]

[Except not really. At all. That sounded pretty god-awful, honestly, and he can't help but cross his fingers that something like that doesn't end up happening to him.
You know, figurative finger crossing, that is.]
It didn't kill you though, I take it?

[He's leading, here--if the Malnosso had a reason for doing that, Buffy probably knew.]
no subject
I'm sure they had a hell of a time watching the slow and painful recovery of a Slayer without her regeneration rate.
no subject
Getting personal? Yeah, that's not really something he wants to deal with right now.]
That was probably quite the change of pace. Did you at least take up knitting or something to keep from going crazy?
no subject
[ she lifts her brows. ] That's around when I started working at Good Spirits. And I started training a la normality.

[Snark, but his heart still isn't in it. He falls silent for a moment. God, he's terrible at this, isn't he? He should probably say something comforting. We'll be fine. They won't kill us. It can't be worse than last time. But he just can't muster it.]
Welp, glad you found something to pass the time. I think I'm already a little less sane than when I got here.

Yeah, I've noticed. Funny how the backwater Twilight Zone attracts the best lunatics of all. [If he ever got that therapy business up and running, he'd make a fortune here.
You know, were there currency.]

[ and then, a little guiltily: ] It's the slightly out-of-touch ones who end up with the fiercest grips on reality, when they see it. A good thing to pay attention to.

[Except for when he can't even tell his closest friends that he's dying. Whoops.
And that thought is a little crashing and sobering. He can't forget where he is. Even if the company could be worse right now.]
