The mood changed when the drafted left (probably), but we still have an Amusement Park!! Might want to try to enjoy.

PS: Drafted come back the night of the 29th, so they have two days after that if they want too

[Tsubaki's too excited to be on a ride with Hakumen to notice that they haven't moved in a while until he brings her attention to it.]

Oh, uhh... good question. It doesn't look like anyone's trying to board or alight. [Her eyes narrow.] Something must be wrong.

This machine...it was a trap!

[That has to be the answer. To trap them both near the top of the Ferris Wheel, so that they could not investigate this amusement park properly from the skies.]

Those fiends! [He puts his hands on the sides of his seat and moves to stand] They will--

[...And immediately hits his head against the top of the cart, falling back to his seat. And, as an added bonus, the cart rocks back and forth for a few moments from the sheer force of the bump.

Oops someone forgot they are tall and heavy.]

Sir! Are you alri--ahhh! [Having stood in a misguided attempt to check on him, Tsubaki is now thrown back into her seat too as the cart rocks violently. But the best has yet to come.]

...D-Do you hear that? [That being that the creaking and groaning of metal under too much stress even after the rocking has slowed.]

[He groans slightly, but recovers quick. He's had worse injuries happen and this armor is pretty handy. But the shaking of the cart is not helping to reaffirm his opinion on this situation.]

This contraption...it was a trap! And we fell right into it. [And that groaning and creaking -- ] We need to get out of here.

[Okay, things are taking a turn for the worse, but something tells her getting out of this mess safely ain't gonna be easy.] But we're almost at the top -- how are we going to get down?
