Katara pushed open the doors to the Jasmine's dragon, dragging her water pouches behind her and tripping over her too-big clothes. She was obviously annoyed, making faces every time she stripped

Iroh was had been busy on the kitchen while making some meal for his nephew, Aang and Umbrael. The kids were upstairs, probably napping; he didn't mind taking care of them, in fact it mad ehim feel joyful.

He didn't expect any costumer, at least not until this 'event' had been wore off. He quickly cleaned his hands on a rag he had near by and walked to the shop to greet the newly arrived costumer. "Good afternoo, how may I -" He stopped, soon recognizing the young waterbender. He smiled amusedly. "Oh, hello," He said warmly. "Are you lost?"

"No, I know exactly where I am." Katara said in an increadibly irritated voice "What I want to know is if Aang does"

Iroh blinked, slightly taken a back from the sharp reply but didn't let it show on his features. He smiled again, realizing that the waterbender was one of those cases where the person only 'shrunk'.

"I'm afraid he doesn't." He explained calmly. "I don't even think he knows he's the avatar yet, he's also missing his tatooes." He sighed. "I would appreaciatte if you don't mention anything about this place. I'm sure this 'change' won't last much... or at least I hope so. But it'll only disturb them and make them scared." He looked at her, hopeful she will understand.

"I told them there's a festival at town, so that's why they have wings. They're upstairs, the second room on the left." He pointed her to where the stairs were.

She nodded "I understand" She started in the direction indicated, only to get her foot tangled in one of her water pouches and trip, landing face first with water flying everywhere

Iroh quickly hurried to her side, there was nothing but true worry on his features. "Are you alright?" He said, helping her stand up.

"I'm fine" She stood up, looking at the flatened water pouch with annoyance. She made a sweeping motion with her hand and the water flowed back into the pouch before she picked it up, refusing to admit that both the pouches were too much for her

Iroh smiled a little at the girl's stubborness, reminding him very much of his nephew. "Very well, meal's going to be ready soon. You're welcome to stay if you'd want to.* Iroh nodded and walked back to the kitchen.

She nodded, pre-occupied with trying to arrange her water pouches so that she wouldn't trip again. She finally managed to get them in order and tromped off to the room that had been indicated

Zuko was quite startled when the door was suddenly opened with such a force, he was always used to have people knocking first. Besides he had been completely absorbed in drawing on his book with Aang; the picture was nothing more than scribbles and blobs that looked entirely like nothing, but for them (supposedly) it was a parade with dragons, flying bisons, some of the temples Aang knew along with the monks there and apparently Zuko's academy as well.

For some reason it was about to turn into a tickle fight but Zuko's attention had been quickly distracted to the girl standing below the door frame of his room.

He tilted his head and blinked at her, not noticing at first how angry she seemed. "Oh, hi!"

Aang was just adding some trees to their picture when the door flung open; he glanced up, expecting to see Uncle Iroh, but surprised to see an unfamiliar girl instead. He blinked and glanced at Zuko, wondering if she was a friend of his, and then looked back at her, smiling in welcome.

"Hi," he said cheerfully.

Katara forced herself to look calm so she wouldn't alarm Aang the boys, despite the fact that she was obviously struggling with the two heavy water pouches slung loosely across her back. Then it suddenly occured to her that Aang wouldn't recognise her and that she should probably ask before she came in "Hi. Do you mind if I come in and sit down?"

Zuko blinked and immediately took a sitting position (seeing he was laying into the floor). "Not at all." He said, offering a smile. "Ah," He turned to Aang. "Aang, this is Katara, she's a waterbender and she says she knows you." He said, sounding a little curious while expecting the young monk to recognize her or something. Then again she seemed to know his name without him knowing her, or at least he didn't think he did.

"Umm..." Aang chewed on his lip, trying to remember. He didn't think he knew any waterbenders his own age - certainly not any girls. But she did look very familiar. There was something almost...soothing...about her features - like when he looked at the murals on the Temple walls back home.

"I'm sorry," he admitted, blushing, "I don't remember. I mean, you look familiar but I don't know where I know you from."

She sat down, unfortunately forgetting that the water pouches would be under her and managing to soak the floor again, causing her to spring back up, muttering some things under her breath that it was probably a good thing the kids couldn't hear "Sorry" She took the pouches off, putting the water back into them with waterbending "And it's okay" She hadn't expected even that much after talking to Iroh

Zuko worried for a little but his expression ended being of a surprise one, his mouth making a small 'o'. "That's really neat." He commented, talking about Katara's waterbending abilities. He had never seen any other kind of bending but with fire, so seeing other people bend a different element made him feel curious.

"You're a really good waterbender!" Aang said, clearly impressed. "Are you from the Northern or the Southern Tribe? Zuko and I are drawing, wanna draw with us? Are you here for the festival, too?" He asked question after question, not pausing for a reply, once again excited by meeting another bender - and apparently, someone he knew.

Katara was a little taken aback by all the questions, but responded as though she had had a lot of experience answering annoying streams of questions "Southern, sure, and no, I live here" The last part sounded somewhat pained, as though she wished it weren't true.

(I imagine she'd get a lot of the question streams from Sokka XD)

Zuko was listening intently to what Katara was saying; at some point he had moved back to lay on the floor, absentmindendly starting to draw some random things here and there. "Do you know when the festival's starting?" He asked, throwing a glance at her. "And we're drawing about-- well, lots of stuff. You can draw whatever you'd want!"

"Oh! I've never been to the South Pole. Hey, I drew my Temple and Zuko drew his school, maybe you could draw something from your home," Aang suggested, handing a pen to Katara. He looked at the drawing he and Zuko had been working on.

"If we knew any earthbenders we could get all four nations in there," he remarked.

((I bet, Sokka has his need to know the reason behind everything... he probably drove her crazy already XD ))

Katara took the pen and couldn't help but think of the other half of the group when Aang mentioned earthbenders "Yeah." She repressed a sigh and forced herself to look cheerful again. She started drawing, slowly producing a basic drawing of her tribe as it had been prior to Zuko smashing down the wall. It was nowhere near professional quality, but it still left Sokka's drawings looking like scribbles ~~, well, more like scribbles~~

Zuko had curiously peeked at Katara's work as he scribbled down what it was intended to look like another dragon flying somewhere on top some mountains (that were more like blobs). "Whoa, you're really good at this!" He commented.

She broke out of her thoughts at Zuko's comment "Huh? Oh, I guess." She looked down at the drawing, partly to help take her mind off the fact that she was sitting next to Zuko of all people. It was just too weird.
