Not possible, there can never be too many starfish. Even at a hot spring there could be starfish!
[What other things could she possibly need? It could rain, so maybe a coat. Something to eat perhaps. A spare change of clothes in case her others got wet... Nope, starfish are more important.]
What else should Fuuko have brought then? Fuuko is content with what's here for now!
no subject
[She would have included a lot more as noted in the military survival manuals, but even she thinks it may be a short trip.]
Maybe the rest have a few spares.
no subject
[And so Fuuko looks at it... And looks at it... And--]
Aaaahaaa~ Hwaaaaaaaaaaah~!
[Oh. Starfish trance.]
no subject
Ms. Fuuko?
[...
She looks at the Starfish.
...
She zips the bag shut, sets it over her shoulder, and lifts Fuuko to try and carry her as well to the location.
Fortunately for Fuuko, Daisy is not Tomoya. He would not have wasted the chance to troll her.]
no subject
Haaaaaaaaaaahaaaaa~ Ehyaaaaaaaaaaa~
[Just more cute sounding noises as she's carried.]
no subject
By the time she finds the springs that are the source of the water vapors, she lets Fuuko and her bag down... And she remains in the trance.
...]
We're here, Fuuko.
[She prays the words work.]
no subject
[Oh, is someone talking to her? Sorry starfish, Fuuko will be back to play with you another day.
Pop.]
Fuuko is back! There were so many starfish dancing on the shore, Fuuko couldn't just leave them there! [...] We've arrived?! When did that happen?!
no subject
I got us here, ma'am. Sorry for the lack of warning.
... I don't think there are starfish here.
no subject
That's alright, the change of scenery just took Fuuko by surprise for a moment. Fuuko has already adjusted so there is no need for concern!
...Have you looked?
no subject
[She revises from up there.]
Yes, ma'am.
[As she remembers from old survival manuals and experience, starfish prefer saltwater.]
The rest should be here soon. I can help with whatever else you need, Fuuko.
no subject
[Where's her bag? Ah ok, it's here too. Thanks for carrying all her stuff Daisy! Just going to take a starfish out now and... Hm, wait a moment.]
Daisy-san!! Hot water doesn't effect wood at all does it?! Fuuko is fairly certain it doesn't, but it always pays to make sure all the same!
[She's going to take these in the hot springs with her. Yup.]
no subject
[Ironically.]
...
[She puts two and two together.]
I think they'll be alright.
no subject
[Apparently she's deemed the starfish she's now holding to be the best suited to the hot spring for one reason or another.]
Fuuko believes this starfish will gain the most out of this experience.
no subject
I... believe you know more than I do, ma'am.
[Much more. She begins to search for her swimsuit in the bag.]
Why that one?
no subject
[Turning the carving over in her hands a few times, pointing at a few scrapes in the wood here and there.]
See here? The starfish has endured many hardships! What's more, this is one of the first starfish Fuuko had in Luceti. Such a loyal, long lived starfish deserves a reward.
no subject
It's a good point. It deserves to get R&R. [...] A vacation. Maybe we have things for it as well.
[She finally finds it. A huge red one-piece. She looks for someplace to dress. Not that she has ever lived with much privacy before Luceti, but some people dislike seeing people undress in front of them.]
no subject
[Just going to marvel at this particular starfish for a little longer before noticing Daisy with her swimsuit... Not commenting on the size of it-- HUUUUUGE. Ahem.
Fuuko rummages in her bag and pulls out an orange one-piece with ruffles around it... And then Fuuko looks around for somewhere to get changed too.]
no subject
[Daisy motions with her head towards a spot that was seemingly designed for the Hot Springs. Unaware that Fuuko perhaps stopped adoring her particular starfish to look at Daisy's own suit.
She is about to push the door, until she reminds herself of that matter she wondered about: Military has a lack of privacy, and very few people here are actually military.]
You first, ma'am, or should I?
[Not that it'd take her long. Jumpsuits are quick to don and undress.]
no subject
[Buuut if Daisy is offering, Fuuko will walk over and look inside, then look back up to the taller woman. It's your call!]
no subject
[And stands guard. Not like there would be perverts within the group, but a 6'9'' girl is deterrent enough.]
no subject
[Disappearing inside for a few moments as she changes into her swimsuit. She doesn't take too long, she wants to get into the hot springs and enjoy the outing as soon as possible after all.
Fuuko soon emerges wearing her swimsuit, starfish in hand.] Done!
no subject
[Once she closes the door, all she has to do is strip down her jumpsuit and don the swimsuit - both articles of clothing being one-pieces easy to dress and undress.
Daisy comes out of the dressing room with her red swimsuit, with one hand carrying her jumpsuit.]
Maybe I should ask Shikki for another one. Ready to go, ma'am?
no subject
Fuuko is ready!
no subject
no subject
[Hey, starfish and teddy bears. There's a pattern to consider.]
We can't keep her waiting too long! [...] Fuuko has never been here before. Which way do we go?
