Summary: The X-Men have decided to invite some of their buddies and pals (who all coincidentally have costumed alteregos) for some Turkey Day shenanigans.

Over the past week, the X-Men have invited a variety of their friends and contacts who they knew would celebrate Thanksgiving, but wouldn't have anyone to spend it with here in Luceti because they're all jaded loners. They were all instructed to try and bring a dish with them, but it was no requirement. Nevertheless, all the traditional foods would be present, along with some delicious extras.

ooc: Characters can interact out at the table eating, over on the couches, in the one of the two spare bedrooms, or preparing food in the kitchen. Or maybe catching some cool air outside on the porch. Whatever your fancy is! Also, prose or action brackets are cool. Pick your poison.

Hey, thanks for inviting me. Been a while since I've been to a Thanksgiving get together.

Rogue waves off the gratitude. "Thank Ororo. She had the invite list." It is very important to maintain that she had nothing to do with this.

Finishing up checking on the sweet potatoes, she turns to greet him and inspect the container. "Whatcha bring?"

And here goes Bruce probably being dumb enough to believe that. But either way he's grateful to all of them.

"Oh, did she," He would have to thank her too later when he speaks to her then. "Well either way. Thanks to all of you for contributing to this." Since you know you're in here cooking. So you're contributing. When she goes to the container he kiiind of rubs the back of his head. He was hoping he could leave the room before she got the chance to really look at it. "Well I wasn't sure what to bring so. I whipped up some Macaroni and cheese. It used to be my favorite," When he was like three. "So I already knew how to make it."

She gives Bruce a small, encouraging smile. "That's always a good addition ta Thanksgivin'."

...and then she opens up the top of the casserole. Well. That doesn't look too bad! Fake as hell and kind of embarrassing, but hey, Tony brought breakfast cereal. "Not bad! We'll just add some extra cheese on top an' warm it up some before we set it on the table."

"Sounds good to me." He figured it might have needed more cheese, but then he was afraid it would be TOO cheesy and all that. But if she was going to do most of the work for him, that's cool! "And thanks. For you know. Not laughing me out of the kitchen." Since he kind of made this from Kraft box.

"I have a friend back home who made muffins that bounced," she said, turning from him to fetch the parm. "Trust me, this ain't half bad."

"BOUNCING muffins?" Okay yeah, that is pretty bad. That's really bad. "Okay, maybe it's not as bad as I thought then. Do you need any help?"

A wry look, "I don't think the kitchen is exactly your expertise, Bruce. Go on out there an' have a good time."

He laughs slightly at that. "Yeah I uh. I guess you're right. Again though, thanks Rogue." And now he's off to be.... pretty non-social. BUT HE'LL MINGLE A BIT.
