They call it Than-X-Giving here

Who: Ororo Munroe, Rogue, Kurt Wagner, Jubilation Lee, Remy LeBeau, Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Bruce Banner, Dick Grayson Robin, and Melanie Walker
What: TURKEY DAY
When: Evening of the 24th
Where: House 16
Summary: The X-Men have decided to invite some of their buddies and pals (who all coincidentally have costumed alteregos) for some Turkey Day shenanigans.
Rating: H for HEARTWARMING

Over the past week, the X-Men have invited a variety of their friends and contacts who they knew would celebrate Thanksgiving, but wouldn't have anyone to spend it with here in Luceti because they're all jaded loners. They were all instructed to try and bring a dish with them, but it was no requirement. Nevertheless, all the traditional foods would be present, along with some delicious extras.

ooc: Characters can interact out at the table eating, over on the couches, in the one of the two spare bedrooms, or preparing food in the kitchen. Or maybe catching some cool air outside on the porch. Whatever your fancy is! Also, prose or action brackets are cool. Pick your poison.

Her hand is much smaller than his, and her gloved handshake is firm, but brief. It's almost as if she can't wait to take her hand back And the compliment embarrasses her, so she responds by route. "Thank ya, I'm glad you enjoyed it."

...

"Mind if I ask ya a strange question?"

That's a little odd, but he's not going to think too much into it. Strange? Captain America has dealt with a lot of strange, though he has to admit that fashion and hairstyles from modern day do count as a little strange compared to what he's used to.

"Go ahead."

"The name 'Logan' mean anything to you?" That was what Wolverine went by, even during World War II, when he fought alongside their world's version of Captain America.

She's got a few reasons for asking this - one, because Rogue misses Logan with the resounding ache of the one person she trusts to set her straight being gone, and even just hearing about him from another time would help with that, and two, because she is curious as to whether or not this particular Captain America is her world's Cap. And if he is, just how far along is he in that degenerative cellular disease that was the reason why SHIELD had put their world's Steve Rogers on ice.
