Summary: The X-Men have decided to invite some of their buddies and pals (who all coincidentally have costumed alteregos) for some Turkey Day shenanigans.

Over the past week, the X-Men have invited a variety of their friends and contacts who they knew would celebrate Thanksgiving, but wouldn't have anyone to spend it with here in Luceti because they're all jaded loners. They were all instructed to try and bring a dish with them, but it was no requirement. Nevertheless, all the traditional foods would be present, along with some delicious extras.

ooc: Characters can interact out at the table eating, over on the couches, in the one of the two spare bedrooms, or preparing food in the kitchen. Or maybe catching some cool air outside on the porch. Whatever your fancy is! Also, prose or action brackets are cool. Pick your poison.

[Well! Not like Kurt much needs the watch anymore. But it's true. There's not many people he'd actually lend it to. Just an ex-thief.]

We met once before, while you were gone. [And Rogue is the one that let her know that Kurt had been kidnapped to begin with. Again, not exactly the best circumstances to meet somebody, but whatever. She glances back at Rogue.]

But like you said, it's good to properly meet you. [Nobody's missing and they're all here to have a good time. Definitely better, as far as she's concerned.]

I saw the cupcakes you brought. They looked good.

[A glower back at the table.] A sight better than some other things I could name.

Hey. It's a German specialty. It's not my fault no one likes it. [Next year, no cabbage rolls. He's sticking with burger bombs.]

I don't think she was talking about those, Kurt. [Because yeah, Melanie was kind of eying the cereal earlier, too. Not exactly what you'd expect to see at... well anything like this, really.]

[Rogue sighs.] Kurt, I told ya that the cabbage rolls were fine. It's not that they taste bad, it's that no one wants cabbages when they could have potatoes.
