Summary: The X-Men have decided to invite some of their buddies and pals (who all coincidentally have costumed alteregos) for some Turkey Day shenanigans.

Over the past week, the X-Men have invited a variety of their friends and contacts who they knew would celebrate Thanksgiving, but wouldn't have anyone to spend it with here in Luceti because they're all jaded loners. They were all instructed to try and bring a dish with them, but it was no requirement. Nevertheless, all the traditional foods would be present, along with some delicious extras.

ooc: Characters can interact out at the table eating, over on the couches, in the one of the two spare bedrooms, or preparing food in the kitchen. Or maybe catching some cool air outside on the porch. Whatever your fancy is! Also, prose or action brackets are cool. Pick your poison.

Burger bomb Thanksgiving. They would go great with the Count Chocula.

"Coulda used a bit more spice, if you ask me." He's a Cajun. He needs lots of flavor.

"Nah, that would have ruined it!" You don't know what you're talking about Gambit. You have to enjoy the food, not the bits of spice you put on it!

"Guess I gotta take your word for it." He has no idea what the recipe for it is anyway, but pushing buttons is the best entertainment.

[bamfing]

Whatever makes Gambit happy is fine. But Kurt will live secure in the knowledge that Gambit has dumb hair. "I didn't think you'd show up anyway."

[kineticcajun]

Just you wait, Kurt. Someday it will be grown out. And it will be slightly less stupid.

He shrugs in answer to the comment. "Jubilee asked." And it's vaguely concerning that she managed to sway him into actually coming to this shindig.

[bamfing]

It will be traded off for Kurt finally getting a haircut in turn, so he can be the one with the dumb hair.

"I know. I just didn't think you'd do it."

And thus, the circle of dumb hair shall be complete...

"Can't go turnin' down a girl's request, non?" Honestly, he didn't think he would do it either. He just doesn't feel that Kurt needs to know.

[bamfing]

"Maybe if it was a girl your age." Not that he thinks it's anything like that. But it's the best he's got.

That's. Totally not how it is. Dammit, Kurt.

"Southern manners, homme."

[bamfing]

Southern Manners. The one where you kidnap your guests, obviously.

"Ahh! You have those, yeah? My mistake."

Yes. And then proceed to hold the door for them. Possibly offering them some sweet tea afterward.

"Very funny, fuzzball."

[bamfing]

"Well I try, anyway."

And Fuzzball is reserved for people using it as a term of endearment. Or Wolverine. Not for bad guys.
