A Happy Beastly Birthday to You (and You, and You)

Summary: It's Beast's birthday and Fuuko has set up a party for him in celebration!

[By the time most people have come, Beast's house will be enthusiastically decorated with red balloons and streamers and whatever else Fuuko has conjured up for the occasion.  Beast himself will be wandering around in impatience until the place starts filling up, which then provokes a feeling of amazement.  So many people.  Are they all really here for him?  Did they really give him presents?  How did he get so liked?  There will be a table of food - mostly full of Beast's favourites like chicken and potatoes and the dangos that he'd recently discovered at Nagisa's birthday party - and another one for presents, if no one's deciding to give him a gift face-to-face.]

[Beast is here for anyone who wants to greet him or give him birthday wishes or gifts or whatever else... at least, when he's not sneaking into his room to check on the rose, which he's concerned will suddenly drop and die before the day's done. Because of this he'll likely appear nervous but still excited for how successful the party has gone thus far.]

You look a little on edge, are you okay?

[Fuuko is keeping her hands behind her back so to hide the red and green wrapped gift box she brought with her today. She's pretty proud of what she found so she wants to make sure Beast gets the present in person.]

[He jumps when he sees Fuuko, though not as badly as the boo the one time, before realising what she said.] Oh, th... th-thank you.

I-I'm alright. [As he glances up the stairs toward his room.]

[Stepping to one side to also take a glance upstairs to see if there's anything there... But there isn't, so she doesn't think much of it.]

Well as long as you're sure... Now! You need to close your eyes for what Fuuko has planned next, otherwise the true effect of what Fuuko has prepared won't take effect.

C-close my eyes? [Ohh, a surprise? He's done that before. Maybe this would've helped for when he was going to show Belle the library. Alright, he's shutting them now. What is this surprise she's giving him?]

[Yui will pop up next to Beast momentarily after helping to usher in some of the guests. Oh goodness, she still gets occasionally thrown off by how big Beast was-]

Happy Birthday, Beast! [She carried a small gift bag in her hand, tissue paper covering the gift she had made for him.] Are you enjoying yourself?

[Oh hello Yui. Today is his first time seeing her in person, so that's something to get used to.] Th... thank you. I... [He looks around. He still can't believe how many people there are, but what he sees gives him a smile.] I... I-I've never had a party th-this... big before.

[So TALL!] Ah, is it ok? [Just a little concern here, the way Beast said that.]

[As Rydia promised, she's in attendance. Other issues have really dragged down her mood lately, so she really needs this anyway. Upon entering, she glances around for him and heads over, holding a rectangular box under one arm and carrying a small bag with her.]

Ah, there you are! Happy birthday!

[Beast doesn't remember her hair being so... green over the journals, or as long, but... well he can still tell who she is at least.] H-hello, Ry... R-Rydia. Thank you.

[She beams, adjusting her grip on the box.]

You're welcome, and thank you for inviting me. Where can I put these?

[Luka speaks from behind him, most probably, having done her best to not be noticed until she spot him. Moment at which she began to follow him like a shadow and look directly at him. He really seems unsettled, it reminds her of when she first met him, but it probably is just excitement.]

[Swift turn around when he hears her.] Luka? [Oh good, she seems much better than she did earlier.]

Yo, Beast! [Mac approaches him with a grin and a wrapped box containing a rather classy cloak he supposed Beast might appreciate.] Happy Birthday, man!

Mac! [He hasn't even noticed the box because just seeing Mac gives him a smile... and he just wished him a happy birthday! GRIN.] Thank you!

Hey, man, no need t'thank me - it's y'big day, right? [He extends the gift, waiting for Beast to accept it.] Hope y'like it.

[Fuuko won't be staying in one place for long and will instead be running all over to make sure everything is set up just right, that there's plenty of food and generally making sure everyone is having a good time. This is the first party she's ever thrown and she's intending for it to be a good one.

When she's not try to be in five places at once, Fuuko will be enjoying a little food and talking with some of the guests.]

[Beast meets Fuuko at the food table, where he helps himself to a stick of dangos.] Thank you... [For what he's about to eat, but also for the whole set-up. It...] ... Y-you've done... [D'oh...] ... I-it... m-means a lot to me.

Fuuko is happy to have been able to do something which means so much to you. [Adjusting one of the plates on the table and making sure everything looks next.] But remember that it was you who did the most work of all! If you hadn't invited everyone like you did then this party wouldn't be happening right now!

Y... y-yes, I... [And now he's remembering her lessons.] I... I did this!

[Robert is definitely here, albeit even more socially awkward than the Beast is, hovering nervously around the edge of the party and flitting around the worst social interactions like a skittering butterfly. But he is okay with talking if approached, and will surely help by organizing various objects at the party whenever he gets a chance.

... One is absolutely free to catch him obsessively straightening things, or being nervous in a corner, or primly eating some of the more familiar foods - one might notices he strays towards vegetarian choices, there - or... really, whatever else. Just don't expect him to be particularly boisterous...]

Well... he'd better say hello. Approaching very awkwardly now.]

[Robert almost jumps as he's approached; he didn't expect it, but in retrospect it'd make sense when it's the Beast's own party and he was invited...

... then again social mores are rarely sensical to Robert.

Still. He totally has to be just as awkward.]
