Summary: Two strapping young lads beating the crap out of each other while people mingle and bet and have a jolly good time! Again, feel free to have your characters discuss things not relating to the match and catch up with friends (or say hello to strangers!) when popping in.

[He finally looks up. Oh Mac, you're such a comforting man... trying to assure him even when he turned this conversation to a much different tone.] I... y-you really think th-there is?

[He tilts his head in a half-shrug.] Bet you can beat me in an arm wrestlin' match.

[... Alright, he's probably right there.]

But does that really... s-serve a "purpose"?

Sure! I mean, that means y'got the strength t'do all kinds a' things like, iunno, help someone lift stuff t'build a house or somethin'. Or look, say somebody was really in bad shape an' pinned to the ground by a tree or a rock or somethin' - y'probably got that muscle power to lift it off 'em an' save 'em, y'know? An' that's sayin' somethin'.

[Huh, how had he not thought of that before? All of that rescuing newcomers while he was out exploring... then he saw it as just a bit of a nuisance that was interrupting his original intentions, but... now that he thinks about it, he doesn't entirely regret saving some of them... especially Ariel, even if she has awkward legs and doesn't say much...] Th... th-that's true... y-you're right.

[Trying to give a bit of a smile now, just to show Mac that what he's saying really is a comfort.]

[The kid doesn't mind in the least; he will follow the flow of conversations.] Yeah! I mean, I was sparrin' with Firo a couple months ago, but this was the first real big match I've had.

Firo? [Some names here really are strange.] Wh-what's the difference... b-between "sparring" and a match?

Think a' sparring more' like practice - y'don' go all out when y'sparrin'. A match is jus' whatchya can call a fight.

Oh... I see. [Now that he thinks about it, "sparring"'s a word used in swordplay, isn't it... though for slight different reasons.] S-so why a match with...? [He can't remember Luffy's name right now, so he's just going to gesture to him.]

[Mac blinks uncomprehendingly before glancing towards the fellow to whom Beast is gesturing.] Luffy? Oh, that's 'cause he's a boxer like me.

Luffy, r-right, I knew that. [He probably should be used to these names by now.] Th-there are not... m-many "boxers" here?

Well, at the time when I was tryin' t'find out who else is a boxer in Luceti, I only knew 'bout Luffy. But there are a couple other people now, too, which is pretty cool.

Oh... th-that's... good.

... S-so there'll be more... "matches"? [As he says this, his voice gradually sounds more excited about this idea.]

Hell yeah! I sure hope so! Nothin' beats squarin' off 'gainst a real fighter, 'specially after I been trainin' with all them holograms.
