Who: Schuldig, Farfarello, anyone who comes near the Community Buildings
What: It can be Hallucination Tiem naow!
When: A day or two after the hunter event ends.
Where: The general vicinity of Community Building 1 and 2
Summary: Wing regeneration is making Schuldig feverish and delusional. And not in great control of his powers. Which means he's sharing his fever dreams and hallucinations with everyone in the Community Buildings.
Rating: PG-13 to start because, um, Schwarz.
Schuldig is tossing a lot more in his sleep now that his wing is growing back. There's a fine sheen of sweat on his skin as his fever climbs higher, painful dreams and the whisper of other thoughts making him restless. The loosening of the reins on his power is a slow process, spreading outward from him gradually as it slips more and more from his control.
Farfarello, of course, is the first one it touches.
Pain, terror, the glint of light from glasses and sharp metal. 'I don't want to be here! I'd rather hear the shouting than stay here!'
Farfarello puts down his journal and sighs. The last stanzas of Canto I can wait. He's been expecting something like this since Schuldig's temperature first started going up. It's happened before, when he had the flu and a couple other times injuries got infected. Plus that time in Amsterdam that he had a bad reaction to the pot smoke--that time sucked.
The nightmare doesn't particularly bother Farfarello--if anything it'd be a turn-on if the pain and terror belonged to someone other than his partner--but when Schuldig's powers go out of control Bad Shit can start happening. He'd learned that the hard way the first time he was around for this--he'd ended up mute for a week after Schuldig fucked up the speech centre of his brain for him. Crawford had been the one to take care of these situations at that time, and he'd been late. Now Schuldig trusts Farfarello enough that he can help, too, at least.
Picking up the journal again, though leaving it closed, Farfarello gets up and goes over to the bed, nudging Schuldig to the side a little and curling up beside him. Physical contact helps make his presence seem more real than the dreams. 'Got your back, aibou.'
Farfarello's presence at least eases the building need to lash out, to strike at whatever is near him in a blind attempt to stop the pain. His eyes open for a moment, the usually sharp and brilliant blue dazed and unfocused. He doesn't really SEE his teammate, but he doesn't need to see him to know he's there. The familiar twisted order of Farfarello's mind is a better assurance of his presence than sight could ever be.
Farfarello's presence can only ease the violence, though, not return his control of his powers. Soon enough, both Community Buildings are engulfed in the projections of Schuldig's pain and fear, the hallucinations a mix of pure delusion and actual memories.
...The memories of Rosenkreuz tend to be worse than what's solely a product of Schuldig's fevered imagination.
There's nothing Farfarello can do about the memories, so he doesn't concern himself with that. He just needs to keep Schuldig from destroying half the minds within range, including Farfarello's own. Most importantly Farfarello's own. Everyone else can end up braindead for all he cares, but he likes being reasonably functional.
So far, so good.
((Interaction with Schuldig and Farfarello is OPTIONAL. This post is an open playground. Torture your pups with Schu's hallucinations, scramble around trying to find out what's going on, do whatever. You can try to lynch the telepath if you want, but he has a really mean guard dog. :D Have fun with it!))

"Y-You can...cry, if...you want to. I won't say anything."

She still supported the girl, yet she closed her eyes and let her tears fall.

Her own memories threatened to come after her again, but Lenalee gave them a mental kick. She was good at not thinking about it, and would remain so.

She brought her other arm around to hold onto Lenalee tight and bury her face in her shoulder, her own hitching with held back sobs. She was usually good at keeping her own memories back, but having them forced out in the open was just making her experience it once again.
"No, no," She thought to herself, "Now's not the time, I need to get to Lloyd and his father... They need me!"
Yet she couldn't get the rest of her body to move.

But she'd told Stella she wouldn't say anything, and she was going to keep her word. Lightly, so as not to get the blood from her palms all over Stella's clothing, she rubbed the older girl's back. She was trying to be comforting.

"Th-thank you." She muttered through a small smile, though even as she kept her hand on her cheek, the tears flowed as if they were never stopped. "I'm... sorry about that. A-and... I really need to... I was heading somewhere to help a friend. His father was injured, and..."

That thought only caused her to want to hurry, so she looked around, finally able to wipe her tears away and stop them. "It's this way..." She said in a soft tone, and she took Lenalee's wrist to lead the way. If they were going to walk into that again, she at least wanted to make sure that Lenalee was close by.

Not really knowing where they were headed, Lenalee followed Stella without so much as another word.
