Summary: Placing bets and taking swings.

Let's get ready to rumble, boys and girls! A few quick notes:

Double check the fight roster--I moved some things around, namely matching up Firo with Homura since their respective opponents weren't able to participate. Let me know if something is amiss!

Characters who are fighting will be told their opponent's name upon arrival, and fights will proceed in the order they appear on the roster up there. Let me know if you need to be moved around for whatever reason!

Tony and Shikamaru will be policing the fights for any funny business, but fights will end when one of the participants forfeits or gets knocked out cold. So your character can get bloodied, bludgeoned, and broken and keep going if they wish! Remember, there's no magic since this is in the tunnels, and there are no weapons allowed in the fights. Just your fists, elbows, et cetera.

And should they have some owwies that need attention, Adele, Katara, Luca and Ange will be on hand to provide medical assistance. What troopers.

Spectators can interact however and whenever they want, so feel free to start a new thread for your character who is watching!

W-well, yeah... I guess I'll be going up against that Tony guy. [He looks up, considering this.] Guess it's not so bad, then, since he annoys me. Easier to fight someone like that, right?

Oh, you mean the guy that organized all of this? [ A blink. ] I didn't think he was so bad. What's so annoying about him?

[wildkotetsu]

He thinks he's the king of the world, and bullies people for no good reason! [HMPH.] When I first showed up here all confused and worried, all he did was pick on me for being a New Feather.

One of those kinds.

[fourteen]

Oh. [ Sheepish, suddenly. ] Maybe I should have guessed from the way he was talking. Well ... you better kick his butt, then, Kotetsu. [ Grinning at him. ]

[wildkotetsu]

Yeah...

Uh. Xion? Should you really be fighting here?

[He puts his hands on his hips, frowning.]

I mean, your papa probably wouldn't want you here, if I know him even a little bit by now...

[fourteen]

[ .. frowns right back at him, though more from confusion and uncertainty than anything. ]

I can fight, Kotetsu. And if I get hurt, that's okay. We're not here just to spar. [ She pauses for a second, then shakes her head. ] Dad's not exactly himself right now. Besides, I'm doing this to learn my limits and how much I need to improve. Better here than on the battlefield in front of a Shifter, right?

[wildkotetsu]

Well... That's true. As long as you really believe you'll gain something about of it. [But he doesn't seem any less worried; I'm a papa, okay, it's my job to worry about the youngin's. Even if you're old enough to understand everything.] Are you worried about things like that? ... Fighting with your fists, I mean.

[fourteen]

I do. [ She gives him a smile, more to make him feel better than anything. ] ... sometimes, yeah. I've been learning hand to hand combat for a few months now, but you can never be too prepared. Not when you're fighting a war.

[wildkotetsu]

[Nobody should have to fight a war, is what he immediately thinks, but he's quiet on the subject.]

Y'know, if you're really worried about that, I wouldn't mind showing you how to do hand-to-hand stuff. I had to study it for a while for my job back home.

[fourteen]

... [ Her smile turns warm, appreciative. ] I have a teacher, Kotetsu. But I wouldn't mind another sparring partner.

[wildkotetsu]

[fsdkjfh oh well, it was a dumb thought for someone who knew magic and stuff already... Of course she'd have a trainer or something.|D;;]

Aa, I shoulda' figured. Sparring wouldn't be so bad, though.
